My husbands parents started going to this place when my mother-in-law worked in town. We love bringing home a large order of... food from there for the family. The people are always friendly and the history of the restaurant and the family is there foryou to see on the wall. Stopped here for dinner before heading to the Ice Festival for dinner after reading the reviews. Hubby and I split the special... steak and it was delicious. The onions and peppers were tender and not at all greasy and they were very generous with themushrooms too and lots of melted mozzarella and the steak was flavorful rib eye. The rolls are clearly made fresh daily and Imade sure to eat every last crumb, a great sub needs an awesome roll and Vinny's are top notch. The basket of fries is enoughfor 2, crispy on the outside and you can tell they change the grease daily. The only suggestion I have would be to offer a largesize soda, they only have 1 size and it's not very big. I ordered the special cheesesteak. Bread is definitely homemade, soft on the interior and a nice thin crust on the exterior.... Veggies are fresh, not canned and the meat is tender. The sauce on the sandwich was good but wish there was a bit more. This ismy first time here and I'll be sure to stop back again the next time I'm in the area to try out some other items. I can't saythat I'm overly excited about the food, its not the best cheesesteak I've had but it is very good.
