I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Carlisle area. Our waitress was the nicest lady. She had her hands full but... made sure to take great care of each of her tables. I?m not sure what anyone posted about Marcello?s, but it is the best pizza shop in the area. They make the softest & freshest... bread for their subs. I recommend that you have a cheese steak with sauce and onions! Their pizza crust is thin and perfect. It rivals any slice that I have had in New York City. And, believe me, a big guy like me has eaten A-LOT of pizza over theyears. In addition, I can?t overlook their customer service. Always fast and always courteous. Read more
Marcello's seriously has some of the best food I ever had! My coworkers and I order from here often and their pizza is better... than any other pizza place I've ever been to. Just yesterday I had their cheeseburger sub for the first time and it was the bestthing I ever tasted! It was delicious and for $8 it's a big sub with lots of meat. I really really love this place and Irecommend it 100%. Also their delivery is top notch and they make their food fast and always deliver on time. Read more
Not one to review but its warranted. Im from Long Island NY. Showed up in town for my sisters wedding and wanted to cater the... evening with Italian. Walked in a few days prior and the staff and owner were kind and attentive. They worked with me on anorder with no hesitation that it was mere days away. They were the only place in town that had a garlic knot! Which are justlike home. The food showed up on time hot and nicely presented. It was delicious and fed us that night with leftovers. After ordering at the counter, I went to seat myself at one of their tables. After finding the cleanest dirty table (not one... was clean), I wiped the crumbs off it with napkins. I then went to wash my hands in the dirty mens room. When I was called tothe counter to get my food, I was disappointed to see an Italian cold cut that was mostly lettuce and bread. I also ordered asingle slice of pizza which was thin, bland, and equally disappointing. Thankfully there are many other good choices to eat inCarlisle, and I won?t make this mistake again. Terrible. Stopped on way across PA to visit family. Gluten free pizza crust was not homemade, but sauce is delicious and totally made the... whole pizza. Husband and kid had a regular crust pizza and loved it. Got in the car after lunch and kid said "wow that pizzawas so good!". Tables and floors kind of dirty but the shop was very busy so we didn't care or hold against them. Food wasgreat, bathrooms clean enough for us. Will be a new regular lunch stop on our trips across the state a few times per year. Thanks Marcello's for having the gluten free crust!! Read more
