Great service, tons of ice cream flavours, and lots of other local crafts and artisanal goods. There's the ice cream wall of... fame which is an adorable way to capture your trip there and a lifesize pink cow out front for added fun. Nice shop. And nice selection of cheeses and ice creams. The staff are pleasant and helpful. I quite liked the red light and... green light in the doorway to signal for people to enter or wait outside -very clever. Also, we wanted to support a localbusiness and bought a coconut cream pie ($16) knowing it was expensive but still wanting to support the local business in thesedifficult times... The pie itself wasn't worth $5, sadly. Read more

I visited the Cheddar Stop when the covid restrictions were starting to be lifted. The shop was very well setup with "traffic... lights" to ensure that the store wasn't crowded and people could easily keep their distance. I saw a worker disinfect the door(the only thing you have to touch) twice within the hour. I thought that was quite impressive. I went there for ice cream, thestaff was helpful in helping us choose flavors as there are a lot of them. The ice cream was delicious. Their prices are verycompetitive. I had a great, safe experience here. Will definitely go back when I'm in the region. Read more
