We were a tad hesitant to go here when we looked at the recent reviews, but we are so glad we did! The food was absolutely... delicious and the staff was wonderful! The portions are a very decent size and an amazing quality for the price, especiallyconsidering this is a touristy area. We will definitely swing by again if we're in the area! Read more
It was very loud as we got seated next to a large birthday party. Very long wait for the food as they were very busy, happy they... gave us bread while we waited for our meal. The waitress was nice but didn't want to clean up the dishes and that left our tablewithout room and us having to move dishes around to fit our main course. The food and wine was excellent ( very small portions )I would rather go back in the off season when they are not so busy, I think it would be more enjoyable. Read more
Ordered take out, was told that waiting time would be long, so we left our phone number for the waiter to call us once ready.... After one hour still no calls, we called and no reply. We went there and found out our food was ready but cold... obviously noone ever remembered to call and no one cared. it was raining outside and we had to rush back to the car, the food was poorlypackaged and source leak out. Last time in this place ever. 2022-07-23 To reply to the response from the owner: We didn't"set-up a time" for pick up. The staff told me "it's gonna take about 20 minutes", but there was no precise "appointment time"set up for pick up; also, I told the staff explicitly to call me when it's ready, they did not say no, so it's a very weakexcuse from your side. If things usually happen like you mentioned in your response, then the staff should have explained to methat they will usually not call the customer, but it did not happen. Also, it's been 45 minutes since I ordered. If thingshappen like you mentioned, then you should call me after 20 minutes because at that time I did not show up to take the order, Ididn't get any phone call, this fact is contrary to your explanation that you "take the phone numbers in case people don't showto take their order". If the customer is "late", and you don't call them, why would you take their phone number? That's just badcustomer service. As for the bags, you can give take-out bags made of recyclable paper just like other restaurants in the areado, I don't understand what is the problem. Bad place to avoid if you are tourist like me. I ordered food for take out, the service was quick enough to respond, but that's... the only thing positive about this restaurant. The staff told me that it's gonna take about 20 minutes, I left my phone numberso that they can call me when it's ready, but for 45 minutes there is no phone call. So I thought they probably forgot orneglected my request, I came back to the restaurant in the middle of heavy rain, I was right they forgot to call me, the staffwent to the kitchen and gave me the order. But they did not provide any take-out bag; the sauce spilled out when we took it backto our hotel and created a mess. I ordered a veal dish and seafood spaghetti, the veal had a very strong lemon flavor, thespaghetti had almost negligible amount of seafood and a tiny portion as described by other reviewers, they were not tasty butoverpriced.
