I found this cosy spot on my recent trip to Newfoundland and loved it so much I ate there three times! It?s owned by two local... couples who have clearly poured their heart + soul into making it a warm, welcoming place. The bar seating always haswonderfully fun and interesting people to chat with and their daily specials and regular menu are a real treat. The duck frenchonion soup was SO good and my steak was cooked to perfection. Everyone needs to stop in here while visiting this part of theisland. A true gem of a place. Great people. Fantastic food. Great local pub style restaurant with great food, draft beer, and awesome personal service.
Fantastic lunch. Had the cod taco special. Best food I?ve had in Carbonear.
Had a really great meal. Everything down to the coleslaw was made in house. The service was excellent and so was the atmosphere.
Casual dining but great food. They can accommodate gluten-free and vegan requests. Very good service as well and good selection... of beer, wine and cocktails. Read more

The staff were friendly, atmosphere was good, location was in the heart of downtown and parking was ample. I had the fried... chicken burger with fries. The burger was good with a honey chili sauce, burger sauce and lettuce. The fries were light, crispyand delicious. My partner had the fish tacos and loved every bite. Their only complaint was to have a larger pita bread foreach fish taco. Read more
