I had been wanting to try Five Guys, have seen this burger place in other towns. I don't know if this location is typical but... once was enough. Over priced!! $30+ for 2 burgers, 1 French fry, 1 drink, 1 water. The burger fell apart when you tried to eatit, they forgot to put half the condiments on the burgers and the people working there didn't seem very happy being there. Read more
The cashier was so patient & friendly. Greeted us with a smile. Menu is simple but there are a lot of burger combinations you... can do to your burgers. They also sell hot dogs & milk shakes. I love how generous they are with their fries. I ordered two"small" fries & received an insane amount of fries overflowing in the little cups they come in. Burgers are customized to whatyou want on them. If you want them with everything on them, then just say "all the way"! The beef patties are cooked perfectly &are very juicey. I gotta say this is my absolute favorite place for a burger. Highly recommend! Read more
Yeah the food was okay because it?s a 5 guys. However I wonder how a restaurant whose only purpose is to be mediocre managed to... even fail at that. When I walked in i saw the workers using the dirtiest gloves i have ever seen. Like those gloves were fullycrusted I feel like their hand would reveal fossils once they remove the ages worth of sediment on them. On top of this nastydetail I am disappointed that for a restaurant that prides themselves in customization messed up my very simple order. I giveone worker that they made my order correctly since I saw them make it and was satisfied but as I waited for them to call my nameI saw another worker dig their hands into my burger and place the patty onto another bun without pickles(which I asked forextra) and into one with tomatoes(which i am allergic). .5/10 experience. I am normally not a person who likes to eat hamburgers, but I went on a burger run with my husband and his brothers and was... totally glad I gave it a try. Five Guys is special because you can specialize your burger any way, and all toppings are free ofcharge. Seriously. ?Little? means a single patty when you?re looking at the menu. The burger patties are thin, so if you areused to a full burger, then don?t get a little. Decent prices, about $6 for a full hamburger and $7 for a cheese burger. Wegot here right at closing, and the staff were super friendly and made our orders fresh. I asked for a bag for peanuts and wasdelighted to take home a full bag of roasted shelled peanuts to snack on. Read more
Five Guys only gets four stars today. Located next to Starbucks at the Capitola mall it is only accessable from outside the... mall. The fries were excellent although having to use those useless tiny ketchup packetts was a pain in the rear. Thecheesburger was pretty good besides the bottom bun coming apart. It was a tad bit dry. All in all it is worth the visit...Iwould be back. Read more
