The customer service with the person taking our order was bad, she appeared frustrated and annoyed at us for placing our order.... The food was not good at all. Beans, soups, macaroni salad, as well as the meat tasted like it was all packaged. We won't goback. Read more
I cannot believe my good fortune in finding this Erik?s. There are 3 young women who work here, and one is more courteous and... competent than the next. Erik?s food generally is good, but rude staff has kept me away from other locations. But this locationis consistently excellent! Wheat pocket was not opened all the way resulting in a very disappointing half made Sandwich. The salad on the other hand looked... delicious and was until I pulled out of my mouth a human hair from the salad. It was a gross experience. I will be contactingthe store later today when they open. FOLLOW UP: I Changed my review based on the response from the staff at this location. Itchanged from a two to a four. I can't give it a five due to the errors which occurred. However, the integrity and care theypresented as well as the replacement of my meal (with a change of the bread type of course to ensure the same error with thesandwich didn't repeat), I felt it was deserving of a reevaluation. Been coming here for years! Fun old western themed place with quality food. Soups are always fresh and hearty. The sandwiches... are big and tasty and love that they use sprouts. Good baked goods as well! Read more
My family and I have patronized Erik?s since the 1970?s. Times have changed. In the last 3-5 years, we?ve found staff to be... apathetic, unfriendly and sometimes rude. Additionally, the soups and chili are not made there; they are made by some restaurantsupply chain. So what is the big back kitchen for? All the salad and sandwich ingredients are up front. Their chili used to bethick and rich, but now it?s been probably at least 25% diluted with extra sauce in place of beans and meat. Staff often forgetsto supply crackers or toppings (cheese and onions for chili) all of which are supposed to come with soups and chili. The chickenpesto sandwich has been disappointing. Not hot, and some of the chicken had straw-like texture. Weird. Like it wasn?t chickenat all. I presume the staff is unhappy, perhaps under paid. That?s how it seems, anyway. I know Covid was difficult forrestaurants, so we do try to take that into consideration. Read more
