I ordered shrimp lomein with extra shrimp. BAD MISTAKE!!! IT was too greasy, salty, garlicky, and made with small FROZEN SALAD... SHRIMP. I was unable to eat it, and sick within an hour. I filed a complaint with the health department. Read more

Dear Capital Szechuan, I am writing to you today because I am part of a project that seeks to help the Ward 7 East Capitol... Urban Farm to find more ways in which we could help the communities around it. As a restaurant business, I imagine you sourcefresh foods like vegetables, or fruits, or both. I know there aren?t many grocery stores in the area that could provide freshfoods. My question for you is whether you?d source fresh foods from the local Urban Farm, and if not, why? Is it costs? Is itbecause you are already used to order fresh foods from your trusted supplier? Are there any other reasons? If you want tasty fried chicken and with some great mumbo sauce...this is the spot!!! The spot is a little sketchy, so I would... suggest you visit early in the day. But, it is really worth it. All of the food is great! One of the better carryouts on thatside of DC. Read more
I love their ???? pizza, but they (the woman) have never been particularly friendly or polite, but after I wrote my review it... was as if they had read it and knew who I was since I always use my debit card. The next time I came in she was polite andfriendly. WOW! Another credit to them is they make a really good pizza and I have never had a bad one until last week. It wasbeautiful on the top but completely burned, crispy and black on the bottom. It was too late to go back and I was completelyambivalent about what to do so I took a couple of pictures. I came in a few days later, showed them the pictures, found out theoven was up too high. I completely understood that. I never had to ask for anything which is a comforting feeling. At myrequest, I came back a few days later and picked up my replacement pizza. They were both kind and humble on both days which mademe feel completely at ease. I could not have asked for more. Only American food seems to be good here. I once ordered Szechuan chicken and received a soggy gloopy mess reminiscent of... something I've seen served only on kitchen nightmares with Gordon Ramsay. I've learned my lesson. I don't believe they careabout the food they serve, or to whom they are serving it to, so I'll just stick to the American food. Read more
