I initially sat at tables by bar but moved to a smaller quieter room. I loved the option! There is a liquor store in the... Tavern. We had a quick meal. I had a great hot Rueben sandwich that comes with chips and a pickle. My friend ordered acheesesteak sandwich and came with the same sides. She said it tasted good. Then, we had carrot cake. I love carrot cake so ithas to be fabulous for me to boast about it. It was ok to good. My server was great especially at the end of the day of work.She was friendly, accommodating, and made us feel relaxed. The rest room was small but clean. Overall, it was a very goodexperience. My colleague treated me to lunch here because I 'had to' try the Memphis Chipotle Burger and he was right! What an amazing... burger! Although the structure of the burger wasn't unusual in terms of the ingredients, the quality of the meat itself wasoutstanding! The sweet potato fries were also crisp and delicious! A surprise treat was the chicken noodles soup as it waspepper-forward and contained a generous portion of tender chicken. The service is superb! The staff is friendly, warm, attentive, and a pleasure to be around. The crab gratin is savory, and the... lemon chicken linguini is pretty buttery and lemony. I only wished the chicken on this dish was grilled or crispied on theoutside because it tasted a bit boiled and like it could have been left on the grill or pan just 3 mins longer. A PLUS IS thatyou won't leave hungry. They serve you an AMAZING GREEN FRESH Romaine lettuce salad with the dishes and great rolls with reallygood butter. I'm giving it 3 stars and not 4.5 because the colorless and almost flavorless chicken looked unappealing and tastedvery bland, as if boiled. My husband thought it looked pinkish still and didn't have it, which he usually does with anything Iwon't have. If i had to rate based on the staff, I would give it 5 stars. Read more
Tripped over this place on Google maps looking for a dinner option as I just arived into town. Never visited this fine... establishment before. Staff very friendly, service was great, food is ridiculously good!! Place is clean. I recommend this foryour dinner options!! Read more
A favorite place to visit when in the Cape May County Area. Food and service always top notch. Visited Friday evening with a... party of three and lucked out and was able to get a table fairly quickly. They do take reservations so if you go during peakseason, highly recommend you take advantage of a quick call to secure your table. I took advantage of their daily special andordered the Seafood Marinara (scallops, shrimp, crab and mussels in a homemade marinara sauce served over linguine topped withshaved Reggiano) and complimented it with an Angry Osprey IPA from Slacktide Brewery. My meal came with a side salad and abasket of bread also was served. We also ordered the Margherita Flatbread Pizza (Roasted tomatoes, garlic, basil and mozzarellabaked on a flatbread with an olive oil base) as well as a Bellevue Burger (Fresh ground sirloin burger with lettuce andtomato.) Stopped in for lunch today and we enjoyed our visit. Before I talk about the food, I must say they had the cleanest glassware... and silverware I have ever seen for an establishment of this type. The calamari appetizer was crispy on the outside and moiston the inside. The Cape May Scallops were grit free and wrapped in crispy bacon. The grilled Ruben was cooked to perfectionwith a nice amount of corned beef and the Turkey Avacado Club wrap was filled with fresh turkey, avacado and crispy bacon. End of week dinner with friends brought me here after many passes by thinking I should stop in. Good selection on the menu plus... a nice assortment of specials. Had the soup and a sandwich and they were both very good, hot, and satisfied my hunger on thatcold, damp night. Read more
