I would give this review zero stars if I could. Let me start my saying that I have eaten at this restaurant two times (each time... that I?ve been to Cape May with my husband). We have always had a pleasant experience. My husband, my toddler daughter, and Iare vacationing in Cape May this week and wanted to enjoy this restaurant with our daughter as is our tradition. When wearrived, we were told that there was no table available. I then asked, ?no table?? ?Even if we wanted to wait?? I was then told45 minutes. I immediately felt like this was strange because a restaurant would never simply say no, no matter how long the waitis?they would just tell you how long the wait is. My husband and I walked away for a moment but felt unsettled. We had a hunchthat it had something to do with the fact that we were with our daughter. We decided to walk back towards the restaurant and sawa couple walk up and were told that it would be ?a couple of minutes to be seated.? When we confronted the hostess about it,she claimed it was because ?there was no room to place the high chair.? When I pointed out an empty table, she claimed thatthere was no room for the high chair, even though another employee overheard and said, ?it looks like there is room.? At thatpoint, we definitely did not want to eat at this restaurant. The hostess continued to say that there is no room for the highchair. If there is room for a chair, there is room for a high chair. Needless to say, this restaurant is not child friendly.There are plenty of other restaurants in Cape May for you to enjoy. Take your money elsewhere. Read more
The staff and service was great! The food had good flavor, but my chicken was tasteless and so tough I couldn't barely eat it.... However, the mole sauce over it was good. My husband's fish for his tacos was very dry too. I suspect the proteins wereprecooked. I expect more at this price point. Read more

This is my all time favorite Mexican restaurant in NJ! They do such a fantastic job. I always make it a point to visit. I love... ordering guacamole because they make it right in front of you and it?s always delicious. And make sure to order the homemadejuice. It?s incredible! Read more
We (my husband, my two son?s and I) had an early dinner tonight at La Doña in the Carpenter?s Square Mall. (BYOB/BYOT) At 5:00... we were able to be seated, no wait. Outside dining. We ordered four aqua frescas, three Hibiscus flavored and one lemon. TheHibiscus was very tasty and refreshing. My son loved his lemon flavored drink. Appetizers were: prepared at table-side guacamoleand chips, which was delicious. Also, chicken empanadas, an appetizer special. The dough was amazing, so light and tasty. Fordinner we had fish tacos (2 orders) carne asada and chicken enchiladas in green sauce. I also had a side of Elote, Mexicanstreet corn. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We then ordered dessert because we oogled another table having dessert andthey looked so good. We had spicey chocolate, two orders of flan (best we?ve ever tasted) and tres leche cake. Everything we atethis evening was just so good. Our service was phenomenal from our waiter to refills of water, we were very well taken care of.We let the owner know twice how fantastic everything was.
