Best clam chowder I've had in New England yet!! We stopped here on a whim and very glad we did. The food was excellent.
Very accommodating. Competent, efficient waitstaff. Looks like the whole family pitches in. Food was local fare. I had a... delicious haddock sandwich. It was exactly what I wanted/expected. Salad dressing are made in house and amazing. If you likeolives, try the olive dressing. Delicious. Portions are appropriate for the price. Will certainly be back. Read more
We were visiting Cape Elizabeth and the lighthouse when we stumbled upon this restaurant. The parking lot was packed for a... Friday around 1pm. Definitely more of a locals place judging by all the license plates, and by speaking with one young ladyinside who mentioned she visits the restaurant often for many years now and most of the customers were local inside. We weregreeted and immediately seated. The food was plenty and delicious. My son ordered the Turkey Rachel, my husband had the TunaMelt and I had the Haddock sandwich. Everything was wonderful. I will say, neither of us saw the Specials listed on the board onthe side wall, so make sure you check that out or ask your waitress about it! Everything on the Specials sounds amazing and wewish we had seen that as I was craving a lobster roll and chowder! Read more
What a fantastic find! The tables are decorated with cute little tea pot lamps, the food was fantastic. We particularly... enjoyed the Maine Root drinks and the server who was so friendly - we'd not made up our mind on what to get so she walked by ourtable to "show off" certain meals to us. Just bubbly and fun! Read more

Not sure where these high ratings came from! Four of us dined. The haddock chowder tasted like fish cooked in milk. It was... hearty but had no taste at all!! The clam chowder was slightly more tasty. Three of us got ribeye steaks ($35 each) were thinand swimming in a brown gravy with canned mushrooms. We weren?t given a choice of sides: The mashed potatoes were buttery andpassable, but the creamed kale was just gross. None of us touched it. The odd man out in our group got the $21 gyro plate withstrips of spammed up beef that was inedible. Our waitress was sweet, but we will not be going back again. Read more
