I?ve been going to pollo tropical for 13+ years now and this one has slowly become the worst one I?ve ever been to. They will... rarely if ever answer the phones. Your order is never correct. The employees act like they?re losing money out of theirpaychecks when you ask for some cilantro garlic sauce. They also let friends and family skip the line and get food without evenpaying. The white meat chicken is dry and over cooked. Lots of menu items not available etc. etc. This place sucks?. Read more
Tasty digs! It gets busy daily for dinner and the the parking lot is a challenge. Plan ahead. The staffing is turning over a bit... faster than ideal, which is troubling, but this isn't a problem unique to Pollo Tropical. It's worth a visit! Read more
Great place to eat inside if you're looking for a fast food meal. The chicken is cooked fresh on the grill. We were able to beat... the dinner rush at 5:30 pm. Ordered the grilled chicken avocado bowl and 1/4 chicken, yellow rice and black beans platter witha side of avocado. The meal was good and I will return again when I need a decent meal. The price is moderate for a great dealof food, the platter comes with a sweet roll also. (It's like a Hawaiian Roll type) They also serve beer and alcoholic drinkswhen you eat inside, but you cannot leave the establishment with the drinks. Read more
Unfortunately this location has been on a downward spiral for months now. Todays experience was the icing on top. We Waited 30... minutes in line to get our food. Not only did they add something to our order that we didn?t ask for, they forgot the breadrolls that are included with every family meal. We always check the bags because this location is infamous for forgetting foodand not telling you. We asked for a small cup of mashed potatoes or a small order of plantains to make up for it. The managerdidn?t care and obviously has no clue what customer service is. After spending $25 on food and waiting 30 minutes in line you?dexpect a small loss in profit to satisfy a customer would be the right thing to do. I don?t recommend this place. Read more
Diners beware! This was my first time ordering from this place and it was awful. To start the grilled chicken breast platter... came with two dry chicken breast comparable to two hockey pucks! The rice and beans had an odor that was anything butappetizing. And to top it off the arroz con leche dessert, which by the way is a dairy product was expired by almost a week!Absolutely alarming! Hopefully we don't have to deal with food poisoning tonight or tomorrow morning, but I'll keep you posted!Avoid this place, they're disgusting. Read more
We ordered 4 tropichops. They had barely any chicken in there, and the ones with white rice and beans had just a little bit of... beans, they were really dry. The yellow rice was good so is a shame that everything else was bad. We have ordered before there,and the food was way better. I don?t know what happened today, probably the kids working there were doing a bad job.Dissatisfied completely, giving 3 stars because of the other times I went there were better, if not it would be just 1. Great tasting food at a reasonable prices. Currently dine in is allowed and drive through and pick up is accessible. We?ve... eaten at various PolloTropical before the pandemic and loved the sauce bar, pollo bites and the sweet tea. But none of that isback. Our kids loved the pollo bites and looked forward to it. It was so disappointing. Staff was so friendly back then too. Staff member who was at this time was talking to a cook, who we thought was taking his lunch break abruptly and unprofessionalon the dine-in floor. It should?ve been taken behind the scenes. I stood in line for over 20 minutes and they wouldn?t even take my order this is after we sat in the drive through line for 20... minutes to be told they don?t have chicken. There is a lobby full of people in here and they are out of everything. Rice, beansyou name it. This service is terrible and if my friend hasn?t already ordered I would have already left. I refuse to spend mymoney tonight. They seem completely unable to perform the simplest of tasks. Read more
