THIS is a really COOL place. We grabbed lunch here on 10-23-22 and loved it. The menu is not extensive by any means (we just got... burgers) but it?s not bad. Food was above average. Service was great. The atmosphere is really exceptional. This is an old bankrepurposed into a restaurant/pub. There is even seating so you can eat in the old vault. If you are in Cape Charles VA, put thisone on your list for sure. Read more
Very very wonderful place. Love the pretzel with beer cheese(it's soooo good)also thr shrimp tacos are amazing..the brussel... sprouts are very good. You gotta try them. Read more

Cool atmosphere and delicious food! We also had great service. The building is really cool, we enjoyed the atmosphere and most... importantly the food was amazing. The pretzels were great, my husband had the bbq burger and fries which were really good, andthe bangers and mash were so good. So I walk in, and an older man behind the bar immediately went and got a waiter/ess. A young lady came out and she was my... waitress. Greeted me with a smile and was ready to show me to a clean table, a high swivel. I wish she had offered somethinglower being that I was in a skirt. But hey, I didn't request different, my bad too. She was quick and timely to service me,giving me a moment later for a drink, and shortly after for my meal. No recommendations or anything were made, a simple no forone of my two options, I was between the Shepard pie and pub burger. Couldn't have Shepards pie, not sure why. But hey mydecision was made. The coke needed carbonation it was terrible when I got it. I still drank most of it, didn't care enough tomention a complaint at least we'll see how the food is. I'm pretty easy going. Only thing that could crush my heart was badfood. I went with the pub burger and side of mashed potatoes. Also couldn't have the mashed potatoes. Kind of frustrating atthis point. But can't go wrong with fries. Then I got my food. And actually, yum! Almost perfect, bun a little soggy from theburger but no big deal at all. Better than dry! Came correct, requested medium cooked, Swiss cheese. Fries were great and mywaitress was quick to grab me condiments when I asked. The food, that's what saved this review not being more like a 2. But whatmade it a true 3, was that on one hand, food was good, waitress was nice. And that should be enough. But on the other hand, itwas all in the details. And I try to treat every food establishment the same. Why wouldn't a casual pub deserve the respect andseriousness that a fancy dress up restaurant would get if service, prices and food is good at both? The details on the bad handwere not offering or asking if my table was good, coke - a popular and often ordered soda not being checked for quality, and theawkward atmosphere. I ordered a house said which was huge and fresh. I also ordered a grilled cheese and French fries. I couldn?t eat the sandwich... because it was super greasy and I was not a fan of the combination of cheeses which was provolone and Swiss. If you like that,again this sandwich was huge. The other dish pictured is a Brussel sprout dish which my husband loved. Interestingly I askedfor a cup of black tea and the waitress didn?t seem to think they had that available. Also, they did not have half and half. Shebrought out a small cup of heavy cream. The coffee my husband ordered was unable to be drank. It was super bitter. We believeshe filled the cup before the coffee was finished brewing because after telling him he would have to wait a long time to brew,it came right out. Maddie slid up to our table like an athlete steal'n 2nd and we knew we were in for great service, the menu was artsi and the... meal very sollid, the only con was paying $4 for a coke???? My Lisa got the SPECIAL Mug and our server was the Bomb. Read more
