I love this local, family owned spot. The old circus vibe and decor is awesome. The owner Mariah is a top chef and bartender.... It's awesome when an owner is so friendly and approachable. We had a great conversation today and I enjoyed hearing more aboutthe restaurant. I love the variety of options on the menu, but the grilled cheese and patty melts are killer!! My husband and I were in the mood for fish and chips and this place hit the spot. The breading was crisp and light the fish was... moist and delicious. I've never had pepper on fries before but I'll have them that way from now on. The service was excellent,the gentleman that seated us made me feel like family and the young lady with bright green hair (sorry I can't remember names)was so nice and helpful. HIDDEN GEM!!! Appetizer was the firecracker jalapeños? BEST IN THE CITY! My husband and I had the pastrami smash burger and the... jalapeño smash burger, both were AMAZING! My children enjoyed the grilled cheese and pork sliders, they gave them two thumbsup! Dessert was the deep fried cookie dough bites, sooo decadent and delicious!!!! Read more

I enjoyed the fish and chips, which the server/owner said was a house specialty. A little dark and burnt in my opinion, but... still greasy hood. Add salt and malt vinegar and you'll be in heaven. I'm not a fan of the decor, though. Too busy. And "BeardedLady"...I think of bearded something that rhymes with glam. Read more

Went for the first time and can say I really enjoyed the food. We went midday and I was happy that we were able to be seated... quickly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. If you are looking for some made to order carnival food with a decor tomatch this is the restaurant for you. Appetizers we ordered were extremely salty but very plentiful. Burger was great. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We rolled into the parking lot to get a glimpse of the pub. It appeared to be closing. Nevertheless we got out of the car and... asked the server if we were too late. She was disinfecting the tables and chairs on the patio. She told us that they wereindeed closing. I asked if we could order take out and do they serve fish and chips. She replied that not only did they makefish and chips they made the best fish and chips in town. She asked the cook if he could take our order. He hadn't cleaned thefryer yet so we were in business. While the restaurant was closed the server allowed us to dine in the patio and even brought usa couple of sodas on the house. The fish and chips lived up to her claim and I have to say they were the best I've ever had (Iam an old man and have eaten a lot of fish and chips). The chef knows the secret to seasoning the fish before battering. Healso knows how to fry the fish so that the batter is crispy and the fish perfectly done with no gooey layer between the batterand the fish. Superb service, superb fish and chips.
