Had an Albueque Turkey and some brocolli cheese soup = AWESOME!
My service and food experience was fine but there was a major problem that we noticed. I've eaten here several times without... issue, but this really disappointed and even angered me. After we placed our order, we saw a high school sports bus arrive. Thestaff did as well. We overheard them discussing whether or not to tell them they were closed and to "just go home." They didn'tdo it, to my knowledge (we left shortly after they entered) but I feel as though this was rude, lazy, and highly unprofessional.I understand that this was an away team. I understand that they were 30 minutes until close (it was 7:30 & they closed at 8).But still... There was less than 15-20 of them. Schlotzky's management should reach out to the Andrew's Mustangs girlsbasketball team (Texas) and apologize, as well as offer some compensation. I understand that there's a labor shortage, we're ina college town, all of it. Management needs to address this issue though. I would've complained directly to management/corporatehad this been me being affected. Shame... Read more
Good food but a nightmare for door dashers. Slow service and the dasher has to fill the customers drinks. I feel this is... dangerous for customers incase the dasher was to do something to tamper with the drink. I feel they should be sealed by staff(not saying staff couldn't or wouldn't tamper with a drink or food, but lately there has been a lot of bad press of dashersdoing bad stuff to customer food/drink if they don't tip), it would make dashers life a little easier and safer for customer inmy opinion. The food is overpriced. I ordered a french dip sandwich that had no flavor. It looked good, but that's about it. The tables... weren't clean, and the drink machine had a few drinks because they were out of syrup, and this was at 12:30 lunch, the drink iwas drinking also ran out of syrup. I like trying new places out but for the price, I would think it would be a nice place toeat but I guess over priced food is how they make their money. . Never going there again, McAlisters is better. Read more
5 stars for the cooks! Just make sure to keep an eye at the edge of the kitchen counter. If you see what looks like your order... sitting there, then ask a staff member to check on it, otherwise your order will sit there indefinitely. Read more
My wife's chicken sandwich was great but they sadly were out of roast beef, and yes this is Texas.
The fiesta chicken pizza was very good. I liked the fiesta chicken sandwich and now I love the new pizza version.
Run away. The manager Regina is a thief. Stole over 1000. From a customer's wallet yesterday. Even overheard her bragging about... it when asked where it was. Read more
