I give it 2 stars for the customer service only. Employees were very friendly, attentive, and entertaining with the theme. The... food on the other hand.... Fish,chicken and shrimp were all over cooked and grease logged. Not greasy like normal but greasylike it had been refried. Lobster bites were inedible. Green beans had good flavor but wayyyyy over salted. I am a huge fan oflong John Silvers but this was definetly disappointing. Read more

Price seems a little steep, but it's in a truck stop so that why it's higher then the normal restaurant. If extra crispy is your... thing, this place is a place for you, they don't have golden brown, more golden dark & food tastes burnt! Took long than I'd like, 4 other people ordered at Charlie's before the LJS side took my order, but the hush puppies came out... hot and tasty. I'd like to apologize to the guy working the LJS side, around 5pm on the 6th, you were probably busy, and I waspolite with my words but not my tone. I hope your day got better. Thanks for a wonderful experience. It took more than average time to get my food, but it was hot and fresh. I'd rather have the... extra 10 minutes and get steaming hot fresh food. The problem with getting it that fresh is that the food doesn't have time todrain. You get all that hot grease. Can't have both I guess. Customer service was as good as can be expected. Cleanliness was anadjustable 4. I was pleased. Thank you for having crab cakes and everything was in stock. Money well spent. Read more
