For anyone traveling through on I-20, get off the interstate and go into downtown Canton for a great little lunch spot! We... both had the turkey and apple sandwich was very good. There were several things on the menu that I'd love to come back and trywhen I'm traveling through the area. While standing in line, you're "confronted" with a delightful display case of pastries. So, of course I had to get a S'mores Poptart... so good!!! I even had to get a gallon of their watermelon tea take with me. Can't wait to go back. Read more
Best little bakery on the square. Lots of treat and drink options along with light meal options. We loved their peach ginger... iced tea. They do have a neat, cheap refill drink tumbler if you?re a local. I only give 4 stars because I feel like I ambothering the front counter staff anytime I come in. Great food, but wow, I didn?t know I was going to be a burden. The lady checking me out didn?t even say hello or ask what I... needed. We just stared at each other. Then I tried to tell her what I wanted but got the name of the pastry wrong. More awkwardstaring. Ma?am help me out. I can?t read it. Didn?t get much better when she shamed the ladies at the bakery glass for askingfor help at the glass. My sister brought me here for lunch. It?s her favorite. Very cute space and good selection of bakery items! They also have a... coffee and tea menu but the best part is their lunch menu which consists of soups, sandwiches and salads which you can mix andmatch. They did also have some breakfast options that looked good but I didn?t get to try it. My sister?s favorite is thePoblano & White Cheddar soup! It?s very delicious and not too spicy(I?m scared of spice so always a concern for me????). I gottheir pesto panini and it was fantastic! The girls working the register were very friendly and helpful. We were in Canton for business and stumbled across the Latham Bakery on their town square. My husband was searching for coffee... but we couldn't possibly leave without trying some of their goodies. My daughter selected a chocolate chip muffin and I snaggeda spinach and goat cheese quiche. The ambiance in this place is absolutely adorable and the food was delicious.
