Went here determined to try something other than a burger, as I?ve had some recent, ?not so good ones?, from this once popular... burger joint. Ordered their rendition of a chicken fried steak breakfast. I was assured the steak was hand patted and breaded onpremises. If that?s the case, their butcher deserves a blue ribbon for carving this thing into a perfect circle. But after closeexamination, it was clear, this rather thin piece of meat hails from deep freezer of a food supplier? The breading was unlikeany ?Texas? type of CFS I?ve ever tried: Add to that, it was as tough as a Texas judge. The gravy was generic, and the biscuitswere bland and dry. Sadly, there?s more. The eggs were way over-cooked: ordered over easy, but were served well done. Hashbrowns and sweet tea were good. Service was very friendly?. I?ve had many chicken fried steaks in my travels out west, over theyrs, but have never experienced one this poorly done: except maybe at a truck stop. If you?re looking for a good breakfastoption, keep looking. Read more

Came on a Sunday right after church and this place was packed! The line was long, but the food was decent. Topped it off with... big heaping scoops of Blue Bell buttered pecan ice cream on a fresh waffle cone!! Would recommend, it?s definitely worth a try, just be prepared to do a little waiting if it?s packed. Read more

We were in Canton for First Monday Trade Days (I mean, why else, right?) and chose Dairy Palace for lunch, based on the... recommendation of the parking attendant. Y'all, this was an amazing experience! It was packed, but the line went fast, theburgers were delicious, and the staff was "small town friendly!" Highly recommend!!! Read more

Walking in it had a ?Hills have eyes? feel, everyone was staring at the interracial couple, and it made me uncomfortable.... Ordering took a while because there was only one person at the register. We order double bacon burger added cheese, salmonburger added fried egg and cheese, fried okra, and cheese sticks, sides are sold separate. $30+ There was a bit of a wait to getour food togo. The salmon was small and thin, and the burger was burnt and the meat was hard. Fried okra was room temperature, cheese sticks were good. I?m disappointed considering it is supposed to be known for their burgers. We were going to get someice cream but it looks like the temperature was too low and some of the flavors were melting. Guess we should have gone towhataburger ??????????? Read more

Oh. My. Word. This place is an absolute must on anyone?s to do list while in Canton! The jalapeño bacon burger was great, but... even more impressive was the service! If you wonder where are all the great employees, go here and you?ll find them. I will beback for some of the Blue Bell ice cream next time. Read more

Stopped here on a drive through Texas. I am a native California girl and this was a Super Cute spot!! Also cheap!! $10 for... coffee and a big plate of food. My friend recommended it to me. Breakfast looking diner that also offers ?the best? burgers andexotic meat burgers! Also Blue Bell ice cream is served there! I didn?t try. I came for breakfast but I?ll come back for theburger and ice cream if I get the chance to someday. Cute decor! Very Texas. Reminds me of an old time Fudrucker?s. There?sphotos of people with their cows, goats, etc on the wall at rodeos. There?s souvenirs you can buy like hats and stuffedarmadillos. Fun place for kids. It?s in the middle of nowhere but I?m sure that?s not normal for Texans haha Read more

They got some danmed good burgers. Best part was they knew how to make great onion rings and fried okra. Most places, even... southern joints have forgotten how to make good fried okra and onion rings right. As far as world famous burgers though, RedRobin makes a burger that rivals theirs. However, you want a burger that will destroy your concept of great dinning? Go over tothe Denny's... Yes, I said Denny's. They got this guy in there that makes a burger you'd slap your own aunt's housekeeper'sbrother's neighbor's grandad for. Perfectly salted and peppered and cooked to numbing perfection. But come back here for thefried okra and ice cream. Read more

We really enjoy Dairy Palace! It?s a Canton staple. Their burgers are always amazing, I LOVE their quesadillas with a side of... salsa, and everything in between is great. You can?t go wrong with Blue Bell shakes and a side of fried okra! Their hours arereduced due to inability to retain staff. I?ve posted menu pricing and hours as of 5/17/22! Read more
