Went For Sunday brunch. I ordered the brisket taco. The meat was really good but the sauce made it watery and so the tortilla... was soggy and not easy to eat. Or maybe it was the very large pieces of onion that wasn't cooked enough in my opinion. Otherthan that it was really good. Hope to go back sometime and try something else. Read more

The food and service is so amazing ???? here that I had to come back two days in a row, and now I am planning on picking up... dinner there for the 3rd day in a row! Owners, Chef Mike & Eden are the absolute sweetest, most down to Earth people on theplanet! Eden serves drinks and takes orders with flawless finesse and both Mike & Eden ask your name and truly get to know youand they have a conversation with you. I feel appreciated as a customer, now patron, there! Eden was even singing to herfavorite songs playing on their sound system, which made me dance in my seat a little. It made me feel at ease and that I couldbe myself, just as she was. Everytime I read the menu, I find something new & exciting that I want to try that will become mynew favorite thing. They also do catering, which makes me eager to share their amazing food with my co-workers. I have to saythat their fried okra is the absolute best that I have ever had; so much so that I had to go back the next day and order a pintand a half of it to share with my family! I got the platter with brisket and pork. The brisket was fatty and I picked put at least 3 chines. The pork was dry but had a... good flavor. I also had the baked beans and Bama slaw. The beans where great. The slaw was noting but cabbage and carrots nosalt or pepper just plain. Read more

Have eaten here many times. Ate there tonight and the fries (one of the main reasons we go there) were different. No longer hand... cut. Clearly frozen and not very good. I asked the waitress and she said they have new management, who changed the fries. Poordecision. I will not be returning. Why does management change a good thing? The fries were salty, the chicken in my chicken sandwich was hard, the kids burger was super small (Hawaiian roll size bread)...... And the price was not super expensive but not cheap. My chicken sandwich was $14 and change, 6 wings for $12... I think there isbetter value at other places. Read more

Mixed review! Meats were good, turkey moist and flavorful. Salmon was overcooked and dry. Grilled peach salad was well, not... grilled peaches! Appeared to be diced canned peaches on top. Mac and cheese definitely homemade and very cheesy. Excellent. Tots were hot, crisp and yummy. Place was full, including outside seating so seemingly a local favorite! Service was spotty. Delicious food. Their fried green tomatoes are out of this world and the smoked peach salad......yum. If Google would let me I... would leave a 4.8 star review because I think the area that needs slight improvement is the price. While the prices are notterrible, if they were 15% lower I would eat there at least 3 times as much. All in all a great addition to Hickory Flat. Keepup the great work! Read more
