The food was good but we sat at the table for hour before we got are food. Took so long that the table next to us order got... there food, finished there food and paid before we even got one of are dishes. Most of the food was good but we had Teo peoplethat got the shrimp and they said that it was really dry, the rest of the food was great though. Enjoyed and would return. We dined as a large party of 4 families, on a Saturday, late afternoon. Service was patient and prompt... as our party trickled in. Plenty of chips and salsa were offered, and the separate checks were correctly organized. Thefood: The menu is quite extensive, with more special type dishes than I've seen in most Mexican restaurants. Prices were alittle higher than expected, but not unreasonably. Everybody seemed to enjoy what they ordered. I had the "gigantic" BajaCalifornia burrito [pictured] with steak and I really enjoyed it. It was a huge burrito, stretching across the entire platter,stuffed with lots of grilled onions and peppers and steak. Had a nice smoky flavor, with the right amount of char on veggies.Together with the moist fluffy rice and the queso cheese, it really satisfied my hunger. Can't believe I ate the whole thing! Mybrother ordered the same burrito with chicken, and it was even bigger. Though plain/unassuming outside the restaurant was nicerinside than I expected. Well adourned, and clean. I very rarely give only one star but I feel obligated to warn you about this place. The staff is rather nice. That's as much... good stuff I can tell you about this restaurant. Flies bothering you the entire time, indicating the place is not kept clean.Food arrived in 5 minutes, barely warm. Chicken looked like it was cooked last week. That cheese sauce was absolutelydisgusting. The next day, after eating there, I had to take a day off from work. Full-blown food poisoning. I'm not even goingto bother posting photos. Pretty tasteless overall - certainly will not offend anyones taste buds as there is very little flavor to the food. Best part... of the meal was the Chips and Salsa but it was all downhill after that. If you?re into bland food this is the place for youotherwise grab a taco kit at the Kroger in the parking lot and drive home. Read more

I can give no more stars. The food was really great I really enjoyed it. The problem really lies in the customer service. It may... be that I went at a bad time (Saturday night) but the staff was more focused on "hanging out" and chatting among themselves thanto help the customer. When I walked in the hostess was busy chatting with her Co worker and seemed bothered that I walked in atthat time. Once I was seated the waitress started off good by taking my drink and food order, which was shortly brought over bythe kitchen staff. but our waitress after taking the order went to the bar to hang out and chat with her Co workers, I never sawher at my table again for another hour and only because she eventually noticed I was staring at the TV in the bar area and gotright up to bring me the check.
