Great place, all we have had is the pizza and wings but they are wonderful. Definitely the best for Cherokee and Pickens... counties. I would suggest ordering the pizza crispy or else it may be a little too doughy. Service is always great from thestaff ???? Read more
I ordered six garlic knots with marinara, a root beer and a large pizza with pepperoni, ham, pineapple and onion to go. The root... beer was good, the knots were soft with a little too much cheese sprinkled on and very little taste of garlic. The marinara waspretty good. The pizza was very good, a nice chewy crust, a decent amount of toppings and the sauce was above average. Thetotal price was 41 dollars which seemed a bit high for what I got. This is by far our family and friends? favorite pizza joint in Cherokee. Their pastas, salads, and other wide variety of menu... items rarely disappoint. Takeout/delivery pastas are HUGE. The calzones are to die for, along with the specialty pizzas. Theyalso have a friendly and consistent long-term staff, which should say something on its own. Read more
"Brooklyn Joe's was voted best pizza & Italian 5 years in a row!" Who voted for this the owners? Just skip it. It isn't a NY... pie unless you consider any hand tossed pie NY style. The toppings are good quality but the crust was wet and not crispy and noit isn't Neapolitan either. Chicken marsala, if you can't cook chicken take it off the menu. It is a large breast buttasteless and tough to the point I had to tear it instead of cutting it. The marsala sauce was a gravy, maybe that's ok but Ihave never seen one so thick before. The side of spaghetti was really bad. The pasta was over cooked and the sauce was purestraight from the can tomato sauce with no seasoning and not cooked. The garlic knots are good. Read more
Authentic New York pizza! I had a couple of slices of pepperoni and they tasted like the real thing.
Well? I am so sad! This was our first and probably our last visit to this establishment. We thought it had to be good, because... it was so crowded when we arrived. Ordered several things since we wanted to try a few things. We got medium wings that wereover-cooked, dry and like jerky in some spots. Sauce was tasty but watery. We also ordered the chicken Neapolitano and thesauce, again, thin as water. Had a pretty good flavor though. The chicken under the ham and cheese was rubbery & very difficultto chew which explains why I had to have ask for a steak knife. It came with a side of spaghetti with marinara that was betterthan most things we ate. Also came with garlic knots that were really good. The slice of pizza ? had toppings added to a sliceof cheese pizza but hardly any cheese. I?m thinking if you ordered a whole pizza, it would be better, but if you can?t be reallygood, might not want to sell it, IMO. We also got an Italian Sub with skimpy meat. Bread was nice and fresh but someone had tophysically put that raunchy tomato on there. Really?!? Anyway? too much bad to call this a good experience for us. I?m sodisappointed as obviously there are a lot of people that love it. It?s close to home and I soooo wanted to really like it atleast. We've been here a couple times now and have been very happy on both visits! We ate in the first time and our server was great... and provided us with some delicious recommendations! Tonight we got takeout and had their Soho Pizza and Garlic Knots, and we gotta say, this is definitely some of the best pizza we've had in the area!!! Going for yrs. Haven't had anything but great meals. Tasty, not salty, lots of food for the money. They maintain their staff.... They must be doing something right. We never take out. It was our anniversary the other night. I called in a take out to pick upat around 1-2pm to heat for dinner. Reheated all was excellent. Great job All. Read more
