Dear Owner of Village Inn. The business may be in the Black, but your wait staff are definitely in the Red. You have wait staff... sitting with there friends at will. Nice family style restaurant. Friendly greeting at door and server Arlette who was nice and attentive. Food was cooked quickly... to order, average priced. I had a Spinach and bacon omelette which had plenty of bacon but hardly any spinach.It was supposed tobe topped with Swiss but had Colby jack instead. I really missed the spinach and the Swiss. I enjoyed the hollandaise and thatthe omelette was not overcooked or brown. A nice departure from the chain places nearby. Stopped here to eat after a long days work. Had an amazing server, but I forgot her name. My food was amazing. Loved the... country fried steak! Similiar to a Jim's, but the food is better. Friendly staff fair prices and great pies. The double cheeseburger was huge, the... ham & turkey was just enough and the turkey was large chunks instead of thin slices and juicy not dry. The fish and chips was good but it was a little fishy if that make sense; the batter was good and not too thick. The chicken fried steak was justperfect, and the mashed potatoes were actual potatoes and not out of a box. Check out the picture of the pies. Penut butter,French Silk, Caramel Pecan Silk, and Key Lime.Also make sure you ask for the Military discount because they have it but you haveto ask for it. Read more
This is a wonderful place to eat food and service were both amazing. I have food allergies and Lisa our server and Rhonda the GM... went above and beyond to ensure I got an amazing meal that didn't set my allergies off. I am very grateful to them, as it ishard for me to eat out. We will be back when I come back this way. We highly recommend this place. Read more
