Popped in to grab lunch without knowing what it would be like. Set up of this place is rather fancy but, casual at the same... time. This place does weddings and rents a venue space upstairs. Server was friendly along with the rest of the staff weencountered. Some what expensive, although the food was really good! My parents live in Salida and I?m from Houston, we came into town to ride the midday train and wanted to grab some quick brunch.... So finding this little place was a happy accident! Our server Bradley was outstanding! He greeted us at the door, wasknowledgeable of the menu and was very polite/friendly. The food was wonderful, we had the Sunday breakfast buffet. Great service and innovative drinks Big Pig was delicious if you like cumin and chili on your pork. Elk medallions were... returned, really good the second time out, mixed veg was good but risotto was really bad. Street corn too much sauce, recommendno sauce, was tasty. Dessert triple chocolate cake was fantastic! The drink is walnut bitters, bourbon, bacon and bacon oil andsmoke for an old-fashioned-like drink. Well mixed and unique, great flavors from the bar. I have been wanting to come try since they opened! I thought the food was very good the prices were reasonable,the atmosphere is... nice and open. The waitstaff are very friendly. We came for lunch which was very good. While there we learned that they serve abrunch special with all you can drink bloody Mary's and mimosas. So we came back for Sunday brunch. It also was very good. Iusually am not a fan of buffets. But it was very good. We will definitely put Fremont Provisions in our rotation for dinnerlunch or breakfast. Read more
Fremont Provisions is the best restaurant in Fremont County. It?s scratch kitchen makes thoughtfully prepared food that is both... traditional and unique. I had the Chef?s steak and cheese on my first visit and am a big fan. Their daily specials are alwaysdelicious and the market has the best of the menu available to take home. Main St. has gotten an upgrade with the addition ofthis restaurant and market. Read more
Went here for lunch on a Friday. The atmosphere is wonderful. Historical building beautifully updated. Had their chicken BLT... tacos and their corned beef Reuben sandwich. Everything is made from scratch and nicely rustic. Servings were large took somehome and we're great the next day too. Read more
Great food as usual. My wife's tacos were excellent and large. My French Dip was excellent as well with the beef tender and... juicy. Small buy good selection of beers at a great!! Definitely a place to go! Read more
