Excellent food, well prepared & beautifully plated. A wonderful historical building houses this gem in downtown Canon City.... Service was prompt and polite. Enjoyed it very much and will return! Read more
Popped in to grab lunch without knowing what it would be like. Set up of this place is rather fancy but, casual at the same... time. This place does weddings and rents a venue space upstairs. Server was friendly along with the rest of the staff weencountered. Some what expensive, although the food was really good! My parents live in Salida and I?m from Houston, we came into town to ride the midday train and wanted to grab some quick brunch.... So finding this little place was a happy accident! Our server Bradley was outstanding! He greeted us at the door, wasknowledgeable of the menu and was very polite/friendly. The food was wonderful, we had the Sunday breakfast buffet. Great service and innovative drinks Big Pig was delicious if you like cumin and chili on your pork. Elk medallions were... returned, really good the second time out, mixed veg was good but risotto was really bad. Street corn too much sauce, recommendno sauce, was tasty. Dessert triple chocolate cake was fantastic! The drink is walnut bitters, bourbon, bacon and bacon oil andsmoke for an old-fashioned-like drink. Well mixed and unique, great flavors from the bar.
