Stopped by 10 am on a Saturday just after they opened on my way to Greeneville. Hillary was effervescent and excitidly walked... us through a "flight plus 2" as we sampled high quality meads. Unfortunately their global medal hibiscus mead was out of stock, but we walked out the door with two bottles of mead and a jar of wildflower honey. Will definitely return! Read more

Decided to make the trek to Canon to try a flight of their meads. Really glad I did. I tried 6 of the 12 or so available. I... liked them all but the black currant was my favorite just edging out the peach. The bartender (meadtender?) was really friendlyanswered questions and gave some history of the place as well as future plans and new flavors. I'll definitely go back to trythe ones I missed this time. Read more

OMG! Amazing spot to enjoy mead, conversation, and to relax! We had the entire place to ourselves and did the double tasting to... sample all 12 meads! We were visiting from Raleigh, NC while camping and this place made our vacation! Everyone should stop inif they have the chance even if it is a few minutes out of the way! We will definitely be back! And can't wait to see themback in NC on the shelves! Read more

Such a cool spot! We wouldn't have found this place without seeing the billboard in Hartwell, GA and we are so glad we did! It... was the most perfect end to an awesome trip to Georgia. The patio area is great on a warm summer day to chill out and relax.Dogs are welcome on the porch, which just made the visit to Blue Haven that much more enjoyable. There's plenty of seating andwe had no problems fitting our party of 6 (9 when you count the 3 dogs). It's relatively quiet in the afternoons on theweekdays, so if you are on vacation and have a free afternoon it's great to stop in and do a flight of their meads and wines. You also are able to get plenty of history from the staff - who are amazing. Hilary took care of us while we were there(although there were two other very sweet staff members who also made sure we were cared for during our visit) and she wasknowledgeable, kind, and incredibly generous with her flight pours ????. All of the wines/meads were excellent and the nibblesthat they offer are SO good. We couldn't stop eating the cream cheese with maple bacon jam and also the raspberry salsa (twothings we made sure to buy jars of to take home). Everything we got was delicious and really quick to come out! This place is amust see for out of towners and surely a well loved spot for the locals. Our only complaint is that there isn't a Blue Havenclose to where we live, but I guess that means we'll just have to visit again OR use their online shop when we run out of thestash we bought, haha. It's pretty much the..bee's knees ????. Read more
