Pretty good for an oxtail alternative. I\'ve missed them so much since becoming vegan and was happy to find Jamin. The texture... is so similar and the taste of the sauce was as close as you could probably get for a vegan alternative. The amount of food youget for the price is very fair. And the plantains were perfect.\n\nDon\'t hesitate to try this place out. Read more

Vegan Jerk Chicken Box (Coconut Rice & Beans , Steamed Cabbage or Island Slaw, Fried Plantations) Sometimes get cabbage other... times get slaw. Order to go online pickup when texted. No cash store. Food always the best. Small limited indoor seating. Read more

This is an excellent way for vegans and vegetarians to experience Jamaican food! I loved the ability to try the jerk chicken... drumsticks and rice. The chicken was incredibly chewy and very realistic, I was surprised! One meal was filling and was actuallyenough for two meals for me. I did not love the rice so much as it did have an interesting flavor. The jerk sauce is spicy sokeep that in mind. Loved the fried plantains, and actually wish I had more than 2 pieces in my order! Food is decent, but some of the flavors are just not there for authentic Caribbean food. The biggest problem is the lack of flat... out customer service and rude, disrespectful staff. I placed my order and my jerk sauce was not included, even after I stood atthe counter and was assured that my 3 extra sauces were all in the bag. This is around 5:15 ish.\n\nGot home, and the jerk saucewas missing. Highly irritating. Called around 5:45pm to fix it. No one in the shop can give me a refund and they have to textthe manager to refund me. Strange. It\'s a super small amount and shouldn\'t be a big deal. The woman (heavy Mexican accentsince that\'s all I have to go on for identification apart from seeing her face in store) was SUPER rude and unprofessional. Shewas probably the one who made the mistake in the first place, as she seemed to be confused from onset. I stated that it\'s tooinconvenient to drive back out and that after specifically asking about my items, I was annoyed to not have them. She gotdefensive and I let her know that not checking items and treating customers rudely after a mistake is not good customer service. The nasty attitude continued and I let her know that I didn\'t appreciate it and my review would reflect my experience. Sheresponded with, \"You can do whatever you want. You\'re just one person and we don\'t care...\" I then told her that as a smallbusiness, this was totally unacceptable and I could not refer other people. She then hung up the phone in my face. I called backand no one answered. After calling back 3 times and not being able to leave a message (voicemail was \"full\"), another womanfinally answered and was less rude but still unpleasant any unprofessional. She stated that she didn\'t know when the managerwould be in and that there wasn\'t a good time to call because he just comes \"whenever.\" I asked for the name of the woman whoI spoke to the first time and was told, \"I don\'t know her name,\" which is an obvious lie bec Read more
