I took a chance and ordered the eggplant Parmesan. It was the worst I?ve ever had. I ate three bites and then disposed of it. It... had multiple layers of thick, undercooked not breaded eggplant. I wouldn?t actually call it eggplant Parmesan. It was as thoughthey have no idea how to make the dish and obviously they don?t. Sorry to report this terrible food. Everyone there was reallynice but they need cooking lessons. The bread was really bad also. Oh well, I had to try the place. I did enjoy the decor. Read more
The meat sauce is really good. I love the meatballs, the salad and the pizza. Aron the owner is very kind. I highly recommend... you at least try it for yourself. I've been going to Andre's since i was a kid; my Mom and Grandma have been going there for 40years. (Andres is the OG version of Grandi in the Fairfax district if you dont already know) Great stuff!! Let me start with one word "WOW" the food is by far super delicious. The owner's, Fran & Aron are the kind of people you want to... have over for dinner! They are absolutely wonderful big hearted power couple. We were greeted by staff and followed by Aron aswe walked in with big smiles and open arms welcoming us to their restaurant. The style is a very nice cafeteria style, I lovedit! My family and I ordered different items so that we can try different meals. My plate was the sausage sandwich with amazingcaramelized onions, I totally loved it so much that I decided not to share! Lol.
