Stopped by here looking for a quick coffee while camping. The Village Coffeehouse ended up being a highlight of our trip! Great bakery and coffee! I got to visit this weekend with my son and I wasn't disappointed! It's a beautiful stylish shop where... you can watch them make the pastry and cookies right in front of you. I had a wonderful chai latte and a chocolate croissant.The croissant was light and fluffy, full of chocolate and rich buttery goodness, I can't remember when I had one that delicious.My new favorite treat shop. Absolutely the best, richest, most delicious coffee in the Valley -- perhaps the province! When I think of how the ultimate... espresso should taste, The Village Coffeehouse never disappoints. Fresh, cozy setting with some of the tastiest treats you couldhope for: gigantic, fresh, buttery croissants, Montreal style bagels, in house baked cookies and exquisite oatcakes, and someofferings for folks who are gluten-free and vegan. It's totally worth the drive, and I see regulars now coming in from all overthe area. It's clear owners Alice and Mike are doing it right.
