To start, the atmosphere of the bistro was outstanding. Our server, Rieshma, was very helpful with the selection of our dishes.... We ordered the crispy cauliflower that could almost convert me to a vegetarian. In addition we ordered the kadhai chicken andMurg Makhanwala bowl paired with garlic naan and roti. The kadhai chicken stood out the most with amazing flavour and perfectamount of spice. The amazing food with equally amazing service deserves well over 5 stars. Best dining experience of my trip sofar! Read more

OMG! Saw the other reviews on Maps and didn't believe it so I had to check it out. The decor is very hip and modern with a... great music playlist to match. Tried a few dishes starting with the Palak Patta Chaat. The spinach was individually fried toperfection, the sauce was amazing. Great start to the meal. Second dish Kadhai Aubergine. Again, beautifully plated and evenmore flavorful. The spices were perfect with a tinge of a burn that would quickly dissipate so you can taste everythingelse. Final dish was the Bakra, which was good, but didn't have the sophistication of the two previous dishes. Overall, veryhappy with the meal and will definitely return to try the other dishes. Only problem is that I'm visiting so I may need to bookanother trip to Canmore. Read more

We are a group of 4 people visiting from Montreal. I had saved this restaurant in my list to try out based on the reviews and... OMG it didn't disappoint. We had just completed a long hike in the Banff national park area and called ahead to book, theearliest they could accommodate us was at 8pm so we took that. The couple who run this place are so young and passionate abouttheir culinary offerings. We tried multiple dishes and they were all delicious but some were incredibly multilayered withflavors that we decided we will have to visit every day until we leave. So do yourself a favor, try this place if you're in thearea. Read more

I attended a wedding lunch here. The whole restaurant was reserved and an eleven course meal was served. The staff was very... attentive and accommodated changes to timing on short notice which was very appreciated as it decreased stress on the bride andgroom. Beautiful decor, comfortable seating, and wonderful staff. The food was AMAZING! The dishes just kept getting better andbetter from the fried spinach, to the butter chicken, and the saffron crème brûlée. Couldn't have asked for a better venue atwhich to celebrate. Read more

We?re vegetarian and ordered the fried tapioca balls, the lentil curry and vegetable curry. Everything was delicious and... portions were generous. You can tell the cooks have a lot of pride in the food they serve. There was only one waiter but he wasvery friendly and I never felt rushed while ordering. Highly highly recommend! Read more

Really nice space. Love the lighting and the green velvet. The service was excellent and exceptionally friendly; they took the... time to ask about ourselves, as well as chat about where they?re from, how long they?ve been in Canada, and the region of Indiathat the cuisine comes from (northern). My partner has the mango mule, which we really liked. We shared the crispy cauliflower(excellent and a bit spicy), and I tried the malai chicken kathi roll. It was very good. Filling, but not too heavy. My partnerhad the egg roll and also really enjoyed it. Read more

My son and I really enjoyed our dinner at The Roaring Rolls in Canmore. We met the owners, a lovely couple, and felt very well... cared for. I loved the Mango Mule spirit-free cocktail. It was expertly crafted. The dal was creamy delicious and the spicingand texture of the rice was delicate with every grain separate and tender. The Malabar Paratha was a real treat. The CremeBrulee with saffron and cardamom was and over the top delicious finish. Beyond all this, the decor is a beautiful emerald greenwith soft pink accents. It felt like we were transported to Delhi or Mumbai for a few hours. We'll go back to try some of thenew Indian dishes next time. Read more
