Fantastic atmosphere and great gluten friendly options. I highly recommend the Lavender Lemonade Martini, such a beautiful... cocktail. Had a nice dinner at this restaurant. Staff were great, welcoming and attentive. Ordered the salmon burger, a salmon fillet with... smoked salmon. My wife and I decided to give this place a try. It was a snowy blustery night in Canmore. The restaurant was warm and welcoming... as were the staff. The restaurant was busy and I knew this was a good sign. We were greeted and seated promptly even though wewere early. We started with cocktails. I had the cherry mojito which was flavorful. It is sweet so not for everyone. My wife hada type of tea. I forgot the name but she enjoyed it very much. We ordered the spareribs and the pork schnitzel plus an Asiansalad to share along with our meal. The food arrived quickly. First let me say that I eat with my eyes first. The presentationof these dishes was eye catching and very thought out. Impressive. The salad was delightful with a sweet Asian dressing. Verynice assortment of greens and veg plus lots of crunchy textures. My spareribs were Korean inspired. I was not disappointed.Literally fall of the bone & generous amount of sweet n savory meat that I could cut with a fork accompanied by a freshassortment of fresh grilled vegetables and crispy potato wedges I found hidden under the spareribs. It was truly a nicesurprise. My wife?s schnitzel was incredible! Accompanied by a nice mix of grilled vegetables. The breaded pork was crispy andjuicy. I had a bite and was amazed how tender the pork was and not dry at all. The tomato based sauce was incredibly flavorfuland only served to enhance the crispy juiciness of the pork. It?s like nothing I?ve ever tasted before. My wife never finishesher meals and she completely cleaned off her plate down to the last morsel. She even finished before me which never happens. Iwould be happy to steer anyone looking for an amazing dining experience to The Grand Kitchen & Bar. Hands down some of the mostflavorful dishes we?ve experienced in Canmore. Two thumbs up! Absolutely amazing food. Good prices, especially for the food. The staff was amazing. One of the chefs even came out, filled up... our waters, and struck up a conversation. It was the best restaurant experiences we have had in a long time. Can't rave aboutthis place enough. Read more
