Stop in for a bite to eat, nice spot with a great view. The service was great fairly fast with the point of being seated to the... arrival of the meal. I enjoyed the one piece of Fish and Chips it comes close to being one of best fish and chips that I'veeaten in Alberta. Glad I only had the one piece as two would of been over Kill. My wife was nice and let me try her back ribsand they had a nice taste but a little dry not huge deal. The pulled Beef Brisket tasted pretty good as well. Only reason Igive this visit a 4 and not 5 star was the washroom had nasty urine smell and there also was no soap in the dispenser. But allin all The Iron Goat is a must to visit when in Canmore or passing by. Read more
Our server was Brie (I hope I spelt that correctly). She had helped us pick our meals as I was originally going for the Game... Burger and my Girlfriend not being very decisive, surprise surprise :) Anyhow, Brie helped us make our choices, she hadrecommended the Game Meat Loaf to me over the burger and she was right, it was VERY good. The pizza was also pretty good forits price. We got the nachos but I ate them too quickly to be able to take a photo of them. The restaurant has a beautifulinterior AND exterior. Food was great, staff is friendly. Highly recommended. My favorite is Ahi poke nachos. I'm not sure if they have kids menu, but... they provided a clean high chair. I shared a salad with my 14months old baby, she was happy there. Read more
Tried out Iron Goat breakfast, what a great place for breakfast. I've been living in Canmore for a while now but don't always... get the chance to come here. the staff were great super helpful and friendly very easy going and laid back atmosphere which isnice they do pride themselves in using as much local produce as possible that’s what caught my eye and we decided to go here iwent for a omelette style breakfast. All in all a good experience breakfast tasty good service was organized staff reallygood. Looking forward to going back. The prices were reasonable and the views of the mountains were magnificent. Definitely aplace to go, sit and relax while having your brunch. Read more
Sadly missed out on brunch, as they just do it weekends. We shared a nice big plate if nachos, with Cajun chicken. The bean... salsa was especially yummy! He had a flight of beer, I had a Floral Butler Spritz. Most items could be gluten free, and they hada dedicated fryer, so their tortilla chips and fries, etc are safe too! A nice menu selection with some really stand out choices. Service was good and the view is nice. It’s very popular but did not... feel too crowded or noisy. Would definitely go back, just wouldn’t have the smokehouse pizza or meatloaf again. Read more

Very interesting starters and delicious mains. A really good variety of cocktails and friendly staff. There’s inside and... outside seating, so ask them to lower sun shades if needed, we sat on the inside but was mildly assaulted by flies. All in allstill a good experience and delicious all around.
