Good restaurant but a bit pricey. This nice small little restaurant is nestled in the heart of Canmore with great views of the... Rockies from the 'patio'. The wait time wasn't too long and our food took about half an hour to arrive after placing our order,not bad for rush hour. The food was tasty yes but not sure the portions were delicious or large enough to justify the prices.There are plenty of other places in the area that you can get the same quality of food, sometimes better, for less. The staffwas very friendly for the most part (one of the waitresses was a bit grouchy) and the options for celiacs were great. Goodoverall but probably won't go again. Read more
Sorry We came at 7pm, ordered at7:10, got our food at 7:27. Nice time but the food were both dry and cold. Especially the fries... (tough like chewing a finger) and burger patty.(not worth of $25 to pay for) I gave 2 because the deep fried fish was nice-would suggested to order from them Taco. However, never comeback, for sure. The service was good. Like what another reviewer said, the waitress was all smiles. But the food was disappointing. I guess it... would be something I will whip up for myself throwing together cheese, eggs, and potato. The coffee tasted worse than what Ibrewed with the coffee machine in the hotel room... Sorry, but no. We came in for brunch before heading into the park. We arrived at about 1230 on a Sunday and it happened to be... just before a rush began which led to a line outside. (It?s a small place) Waitress was fabulous. A smile didn?t leave herface. We were also welcomed with smiles by other staff within seconds of entering. Other than this, I?m sad to say, The pricedoes not justify the absolutely underwhelming food. We were warned of this. But I figured we?d arrive with low expectations andget something basic. Somehow we still left disappointed. Pork tacos are dry and bland. Poutine was cold and flavorless.Calamari however were good. Stopped by for lunch and ordered the chicken bruschetta sandwich with poutine. The pretzel bun was great and the bruschetta with... feta is a great idea. Super tasty! The poutine is served with fried cheese curds, first time ever having that on a poutine.Super good!
