Got off the highway to get some gas and we saw The Town deli & Pub restaurant that was connect to the gas station and decided to... dine in. Service was great, fast and friendly. The steak and cheese is delicious. The wild rice bowl was good and the steak isamazing! The baked mac & cheese is more noodles with cheese sause and bread crumb. Chicken and broccoli Alfredo was okay chickenis not grilled more like boiled? French onion soup was good! I would have liked to try more but we were stuffed. Awesome food and lively atmosphere. Plenty of truck parking. I love getting to stop here when I'm in New Hampshire.
Never knew about this place until a friend told me. It's literally inside a gas station convenience store! But wow, the food is... fantastic. I had the steak tips with fries and asparagus, plus a French onion soup. Fries had their skin on and fried toperfection. Tips had a smoky flavor from grilling and the soup was the best I had in years. You gotta go. Read more
This place is awesome! The food is fantastic, and staff are super friendly and helpful. ***However, I think it?s cruel to staff... at the take-out/deli counter to not give patrons the option to tip when paying with a card. Their tip jar is always empty,because people don?t carry cash. The owners or management should care more about their employees.
