We were visiting the Swan Island Dalia festival and decided to try Wayward Sandwiches in Canby. We had an excellent lunch. I had... the Ruben and the wife had a bowl of their tomato fennel soup. Both were delicious. The servings were generous and we definitelygot our fill. They were pretty busy during the lunch hour, but the staff was friendly and attentive. If it's busy when youvisit, I recommend being patient... I think you will find it's worth the wait. We will be back again for sure. Read more
My wife was looking for a place to eat and happened upon Wayward Sandwiches and decided this is the place. We gathered her... mother and headed. The ladies were immediately talking about how cute the palace was and soooo much wine! The people behind thecounter were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple sandwiches and were able to relax for a bit. Very pleasant place. Thegals had the BLT which they say were terrific. I almost always have the Cuban/Cobano if it?s on the menu. Breakfast at Wayward was more than delicious! Loved that I could get an eggs Benedict with gluten-free bread! Yum!
Wayward sandwiches was definitely one of my top favorite stops for my never-ending quest of the perfect fried chicken sandwich.... But recently the last two times have let me down ???? the chicken was dry the sauce was lacking and we were missing the awesomehomemade pickles. Please find a way to fix this there are very few awesome fried chicken sandwich places. On a different notethe pastrami and hash was an amazing medley of flavors. Read more
