Went here for Mother's day. We all ordered the regular steak and they were cooked perfectly as ordered and tasted great! The... service was as top notch as the food! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place! Read more

We came in from Arkansas and knew this would be the last time we would ever be in the area, so we wanted to have an amazing... steak. The chips and salsa prior to the meal were new and a nice touch. The main courses arrived, we ordered 2, 1 inch ribeyes,1 with baked potato and veggies, the other with fries and salad. The salad was just a salad. Nothing to brag about. The steakswere fatty. The flavor was strange, the meat was tough. You would with a small piece of meat and it would triple in size as youchewed. My mom spit out each bite. My dog would not eat it and spit it out. I even asked for A1 to try and get this down and noluck. The fries didn't look cooked, but were good. The bread pudding came in small bowls and was warm and yummy. The meal wasdefinitely not worth the 150 we paid for 2 people to eat. Especially leaving to go eat a better meal somewhere else. Usecaution. Read more

Entire work crew went out to dinner. The server was great, the food excellent. The best part? The mesquite grilled cattleman's... cut ribeye. All steaks, 7 in total were cooked exactly as ordered. The squash was cooked correctly. The bacon wrapped quail wason point. As was the bacon wrapped shrimp. The long island iced teas were mixed perfect, and the beer was cold. It's places likethis and their workers that help keep all of us blue collars going on the road. Cheers to them. Read more

Awesome food! Great people and very interesting historical place. I ordered a stuffed potato with brisket, and it was amazing!... My husband got the brisket street tacos, and I tried a bite. So delicious. Big portions too. My 5 kids split a beef taco and acheese quesadilla that both came with rice and beans. Plus the complimentary chips and salsa and the beacon bread pudding thatcame with our meals. Not expensive either. We were just passing through not expecting much and this was definitely a gem. Very small portions this is on a small plate. This 6 bites of food cost 13.99. We had this plate of food a baked potatoe and one... soda to share it was 30.00 dollars. There is nothing on the menu that is worth the price. I drove over 2 hours to eat here verydisappointed. Never again! The gas station food is way better and affordable!!! Read more

The potential of greatness can be found here. Lot of little details could make this place worth a five hour drive to dine... there. Hostess needs to greet everyone with a cheerful attitude. That would be better than a scowl, even if it's Texas andstrangers beware. The best food I sampled was the BLUE CHEESE DRESSING and the complimentary BREAD PUDDING!! Everything wasnot perfect but, it still gets a FIVE in my book because they are so close to getting it right! Read more

A nice Sunday day trip ended us up here for a late lunch. It was the best mountain oysters I have ever gotten anywhere except... for homemade ones. And grilled squash over a wood fire was the best ever too. My husband had the country fried fish & said itwas amazing too. We will make another trip just to eat there! Super nice & clean inside & the bathrooms r so clean too! We had agreat waitress too. Just a great dining experience! Read more
