We are from Decatur,, IN. Very little food on buffet and was old. Finally brought out fresh food, but we had already scraped... what was in pans to eat. Have eaten here many times before, never had this kind of experience. Waitress who seated us was lessthan friendly but waiter was very nice. They were very busy but food wasn't kept up to meet demand of customers. With all thatbeing said, we will try again next time we are down. Times are really hard for business's to even get help so that's why I won'tgive up on a business because I truly understand issues happen. I wish you the best and hope things keep getting better. Looks like a nice restaurant from the outside . The inside is clean. We were not greeted when walked in. We stood about 10... minutes. Was suggested the buffet. Had fried chicken strips and some kind of fried meat patty, couldn't tell if it was chickenor pork, it was dry thin, and flavorless. Mashed potatoes were like a plop of thick glue with no flavor. Large groups of people from church come in on Sundays and they do not do their best to keep that salad bar full there was more... things that needed to be refilled on the salad bar and the fish was too salty there was no roast beef the chicken wasovercooked. I recently went to this restaurant with a friend to check it out. We had driven by a few times in the past, and decided that day... we would give it a try, just for something different. The only thing that was available that day was the bar, and it lookedpretty basic. It mainly consisted of ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, fried chicken, fish, and a small salad bar. The foodwas decent, but nothing really stood out to me except for the ham. The fish that I had did not really have much flavor, whichwas a little disappointing. The server was very pleasant and kept our glasses filled for the entire meal. Overall, theexperience was okay. I would have liked to have seen more variety on their buffet, and maybe a little more seasoning on theirdishes, but the friendly staff and the ham are enough to make me want to give this place another shot on a day when they havetheir full menu available. Wonderful chicken fingers. They are huge, very tender, very juicy. The meatloaf was also very tasty. The vegetable soup tasted... homemade. The lunch buffet with a drink was less then $10.00. Well worth it! Great place for lunch. Read more
