This is a very nice family restaurant, both in the context of a good place to take the family, and also in the context of a... family owned business. The food quality and service are good and the menu prices are very modest. Lots of choices, mainlySouthern style, homestyle and familiar food. Nothing exotic, but good food served by friendly efficient staff. No fancy decor,just a simple comfortable place to grab a bite on the go or relax with family and friends for the leisurely meal. Breakfastitems are always offered, but this isn't just a "Breakfast Restaurant". It would be just as appropriate to call this place a"Seafood Restaurant", or an "American Restaurant, or a "Country Restaurant or a "Homestyle Restaurant". It's all ofthese. It's the kind of place where they know their customers on a first name level and first time visitors are treated likeregular customers. While many customers are "regulars", this facility is located at the Campbellsburg exit on Interstate 71 andattracts travellers as well as local folks. Reservations not normally necessary, but are recommend for large groups. Amplefree parking and easy access. Handicapped accessable parking, entrance and dining, however there is no specifically designatedparking for handicapped customers. Cash, credit and debit card payment accepted. I wish I could give this place more stars. I am from out of town and this was one of the few places in the area. I put the... address in my navigation and it led me to a building that I was not expecting. (Cinder block right off of the road) My husbandsaid let?s give it a shot?needless to say, I would come back and recommend it to everyone. Shelly was great. I stopped in, first time, Saturday afternoon with my wife, daughter, and granddaughter. I ordered liver and onions. (I am not... allowed to have this ay home.) It was great. We also had two breakfast items and catfish. The food was served hot and fresh. Ileft commenting that it was about the best I had eaten in years. The service was friendly and attentive. If you want good food,good service, and good atmosphere you won't be disappointed. If you like sweet potato fries, try them here. They were the best Ihave ever had. Read more

Great tasting breakfast,the food is so good and home made quality...the biscuits and gravy is to die for.!!

We stopped in here on our way to the jack o lantern spectacular and I have to say we were not disappointed. The only reason I'm... not giving them 5 stars is more of a personal taste issue than anything they really did. Everyone is super friendly and makesyou feel right at home. The sodas tasted weird (like the way most sodas do when you're not in your local area - we did not sayanything because we have experienced it before when not being around home), and for me the biscuits and gravy were a bit spicy(like spicy sausage was used). Great homemade food! Reasonably priced. Great homemade lemonade and sweet tea. I had the piggy tator bowl with the gravy on the... side. Very good! I thought, "Where else can you buy a 'piggy tator bowl!'" Others ordered fried chicken livers and the baconcheeseburger all enjoyed their food. A must stop! Read more
