My husband and I both have different food allergies! They were able to accommodate us! The wait staff was great! As with... anyplace just be sure to question if you see anything that is unusual. Just went in to Ricky?s and ended up walking out. We walked in and there was only 1 booth seated so restaurant was dead. When we... walked in there was a group of staff in a circle sitting there chatting looked up but it took them very long to even greet us.Get our menus and after 15minutes of waiting for someone to serve us we left. My grandfather and I went to Ricky's yesterday for lunch. He is a diabetic and needed to eat. The food was good. I had a burger... and fries and when it got to the table it was nice and fresh and the fries were piping hot and cooked just right. The waitresswas quite personable and friendly. The only issue I had was how long it took. I had a busy day scheduled and only had about 45minutes to eat but I thought how long can it take for a burger and fries? My grandfather had something akin to a beef dipsandwich, again pretty straightforward. It turns out that ordering and getting your straight forward basic meals takes a verysignificant amount of time. There was also an extremely long wait just to get the food. From the time we walked in till thetime we finally paid was about 1 and 1/2 to 1 and 3/4 hours. I sat there with my wallet in one hand and my credit card in theother hand for about 10 minutes till she even came to the table and this was after she already cleared all the dishes. Therewas, I believe, only one other occupied table at this point in time. As a side note we got there at around 12:55 and there wasprobably only three other tables that had people at them so they definitely were not overly busy. So the food was excellent,the waitress was definitely pleasant but unless you have a couple hours to eat a basic (but tasty) meal don't go here. Read more

Ordered the Fish & chips and shrimp plate. Fish & chips was excellent. Shrimp was a bit over done but palatable. The coleslaw... looked yummy, but could not chew it. One of the few times I haven't been able to chew the salad. The Fat Burger next door hadmusic blaring while they cleaned up. I was seated next to the separation wall.
