Ordered food 30 minutes before closing, I hate doing that to a restaurant so I called and asked if they still take orders. They... gladly took my order and by the time I arrived about 15 minutes later the food was just being bagged and ready to go. Now Ididn’t expect it to be at its best since it’s around closing and it’s take out but it did not disappoint. Honestly my wifeand I loved the food. The Pizza Calabrese was awesome just the way I like my pizzas with quality ingredients. My wife had theCarbonara with added mushrooms and loved it. We split some garlic bread and the dessert pizza with Nutella and strawberry. Itwas a great treat. Definitely going to come back for date night and enjoy the food in the restaurant. Read more

3.5 stars. Pretty authentic Italian pies, we had the Marco and Aurelio and we added sausage and truffle oil. Light thin crust... and dough, tasted great, but we would've preferred if it were more done. The cheese was tasty and distinct but not melted andthe ingredients like the onions and sausage we added were all tossed on top and flew right off each slice instead of beingmelted into it. Adding sausage was a terrible idea, not only was it $5 but the sausage was incredibly bland and tasted likegeneric ground meat. The ham and spicy salami on the pizza were much better. The additional of truffle oil ($3) 100% made thepizza and I'd recommend it for any pizza on the menu as a must, as well as the spicy olive oil on the table. Overall we thoughtit was okay, it seemed a little undercooked and didn't come out piping hot, and we think without the truffle and spicy oils weadded it would've been a bit too bland, and we ordered one of the more flavorful pizzas on the menu. La Pizzeria has long been my favorite Italian in Campbell, years ago its owners were from Rome and many of its workers were... authentic Italian ragazzi, I could eat deliciously and practice a language so different from English. We stopped going out dueto the pandemic, we were recently there, a change of management has new owners but the menu is the same. I usually order thecalzone Farcito, Edgar recommends the Calzone Rico, a good option: delicious proteins with cheese and a soft and crispy bread Onanother visit we tried the Marco Aurelio pizza: spicy and regular salami, arugola, ham, red onion, garlic and mozzarella. I likethe dough very thin, when I lived in Brescia always ask to squashed ???????? schiacciata ???????? Very delicious. I highlyrecommend this place for a real Italian experience. Read more
