Wow. What a great little whiskey bar. My wife and I went here for our Anniversary. If you are thinking of checking it out be... sure to make a reservation. We got lucky and was there early enough that there was one table that wasn't going to be there foran hour and a half. So we got the the cheese patter and it was amazing I can't remember the types of cheese that were on itbut they were all delicious. Drinks were great too, a large variety Whiskey but also lot of other mixed drinks and beer ifthat's what you would rather have. All in all worth checking out and we can't wait to go back. Read more
What a delightful restaurant! I liked all 3 wines I picked for my flight & my cheese charcuterie board was yummy! I definitely... will return to The Aging Oak to sample the meat charcuterie board & more wines. Recommend giving it a try. Read more
Wanted to visit this tapas bar for a while and it met all expectations. Intimate, cozy, kind and attentive service, and the food... was delicious. Prosciutto wrapped bocconcini; baked escargot and antojitos were very tasty and a good amount for four for happyhour. Good value, great experience. Read more
We went for dinner here back in December 2021 for my boyfriend's birthday. Everything exceeded expectations! We had the Lobster... Gratin and Prosciutto Wrapped Brie for appetizers and they were both AMAZING! Would recommend both dishes! We had the CreamyChicken Tuscan Gnocchi and I believe it was a Prosciutto and Peach Flatbread (not currently on the menu). I loved the flatbread(please bring it back)! My boyfriend liked the gnocchi! I?m a musician who plays at the Aging Oak frequently. I have absolutely no bad things to say about this fantastic Hespeler... business. Peter, Melissa, Sean, Andrew, Francis, and the whole crew at the Oak do a great job of making sure everything is up toquality, and that everyone enjoys themselves. Cosy little joint with an extensive whisky menu. We were patiently given pretty impressive recommendations for cocktails and... whiskies. They also do whisky flights and usually have some rare finds on their shelf. The food menu albeit limited is a goodcompanion to the drink. Unfortunately they were out of the smoked caesar salad which sounded fantastic, but the breaded avocadospears and bruschetta were quite nice. Read more
My wife and I have been several times and have always had a fantastic evening. The tapas are great and the whisky, cocktails,... and wine options were good, and the service was great. It is a little pricey, but not outrageous. Would definitely recommend it. Read more
