Easily one of the better poutine places in the area. The BBQ pulled pork was excellent. Will certainly be going back! A great... place for take out as there isn't really any room to sit and eat at the restaurant. They also seem to be quite busy with onlineorders. Read more
Just had a regular pierogi poutine, fresh cut fries on par with swiss chalet, loads of cheese curds and smothered in gravy. It... was topped with 5 large pierogis, bacon, fried onions and a big dollop of sour cream. Staff were super friendly and helpful.The place was very clean as well! Currently no indoor seating but was told by a member of staff tables and chairs would bethere in about a week! Will definitely be visiting again, look forward to trying the cheesesteak! Read more
Visited the place a few days ago and their poutine and cheesesteak were spot on. Therefore, it?s a shame that I am only giving... them 3 stars because I found out that the restaurant "OWNER POCKETS all the tips and does NOT SPLIT them amongst the staff",which is completely unethical. I cannot get behind any organisation that DOESN'T TREAT their staff well. Hopefully, they FIXthis and I would be delighted to change my rating to a 5 star. Read more
Witness to Good Customer Relations Stepping into my go to hamburger restaurant, just off Hespeler Street situated close by Pet... Smart, I had the pleasure of meeting Hiran, the manager of Philthy Philly?s. On this occasion, he showed his ability to engagewith his customers with great cordiality. I must add his staff are also very congenial. He made my 11-year-old son feel prettygood about himself when he extended a courtesy Coca-Cola in his direction. On that same visit, I was witness to him showingexcellent personal relations skills when a customer just behind us made Hiran aware of the fact that her order from the daybefore fell well below her expectations. In fact, she emphasized she was delivered a botched order. Taking matters in hand, heleft her feeling a valued customer in providing her a complimentary order to make up for the botched order. No doubt, hisgesture was appreciated. Customer service aside, the freshly made, on site, to order smash burgers, on offer here, are so muchbetter, so mouthwatering than the prepared from frozen burgers sold at the marquee fast food outlets found dotting the city ofCambridge. We have tried their signature sandwiches, but it?s the burgers with the great variety of fixings that keep us comingback. A nice treat when you are too tired to cook. Or too lazy. ???? Read more
