This place was so yummy, and the vibe was bright and happy! Yet? cozy! My husband and I went for my birthday and shared an... assortment of dishes. We started with the roasted tomato hummus which is everything I dream about hummus to be! Smooth, creamy, with a strong garlic bite! Our mains were the fish and chips and tavern burger which were both amazing! Homemade tarter sauceis a game changer, and it was so yummy! The fish was giant, and the burger was juicy and full of flavour! Highlight of the mealwas the Cesar salad! Cesar salads are not created equal, and this was top notch. Bold flavoured dressing, crisp and deliciouslettuce! Did I mention the drinks were just as delicious! And espresso martini and flight were the perfect accompaniments toour delicious dinner! Shout out to Jess our amazing serving! She really made our time here wonderful! Read more

We were in Cambridge for work and decided to pop by for dinner! The outside seems to be still under construction (I hear they?re... building a fine dining restaurant called Bellflower!). The atmosphere was lovely, I had no expectations for this place and I waspleasantly surprised. It?s quite big inside, plenty of seating but we came when it just opened for the day on a Monday so it wasa lil empty. I heard it gets super busy and crowded over the weekends, so make sure to make a reservation if you?re planning togo then. We weren?t too hungry so we ordered 2 apps and 1 main: the daily bellflower soup, the composed heirloom carrot saladand the pasture raised lamb. The soup of the day was a cauliflower and roasted garlic soup, very creamy and quite heavy butyummy! I was absolutely OBSESSED with the carrot salad. It was perfectly seasoned and the chimichuri vinaigrette was SO GOOD andrefreshing. I would come back just for the salad. We got the lamb for our main and it was so so tender, the meat fell right offthe bone! we finished each and every plate. We skipped on dessert but my partner got some coffee as we needed to make the driveback to Toronto. It was around 60$ for the two of us, but we also ate on the lighter side. Cute date spot in Cambridge! I?d loveto come again if we?re ever in town. Read more

I went here last Friday with my fiance after taking some engagement photos. The atmosphere is very lovely. The theme is modern... industrial and they kept some concepts/pieces from what I assume was the old foundry. I ordered the daily soup since we hadbeen outside for a couple hours and I needed to warm up. The soup itself (roasted cauliflower and garlic) was delicious, it cameluke-warm/barely hot. Did not warm me up at all. We also ordered the beer bread which again was delicious but would've beennicer had it been warm. We split the pound of wings and truffle chips. Chips were good. Wings were tender and juicy in theinside but I did not like the dry rub at all. Tasted like I was eating straight chili powder/paprika. I would go back and givesome other bites a try. Their menu isn't huge but I understand it's a relatively new restaurant so maybe the details just needto be ironed out a bit. Huge potential though. Read more

I was excited to try this place but was thoroughly disappointed. We arrived promptly for our reservation to be told that they... didn?t have a table for us. With the reason being ?We?re letting people stay for 2 hours now instead of 1.5 Hr?. After 15 minsof waiting in the over crowded bar with no available seating, they eventually got us a table. Service was poor. We had a serverat our table, and another server came over to argue with them in front of us that it was their table. Our server rushed us tomake our meal decisions, and would frequently just disappear from the table while we were ordering. Drinks took quiet a longtime to get, to the point we thought they had forgotten. The food was surprisingly bad. The Caesar salad had so much dressingit was inedible. Their chicken in the meal was incredibly mushy. They brought us the chicken sandwich instead of the chickenpie. The appetizers were decent, but the calamari was heavily over salted. The few fries I tried were perfect, and the cocktailsflights were great. Overall would not return here. They definitely have room for improvement. We all left pretty disappointed. The atmosphere is quite lovely though. Read more

Food and atmosphere were amazing. 1st time here and we?ll be back with friends. Caesar salad was so creamy and full of garlic-... one of THE BEST I?ve ever had. Mushroom Truffle soup was served warm (I prefer it hot) but so rich and delicious. The fish andchips were spot on and the pc of fish was a very healthy portion. I?m not too big on the craft beers? that?s all the beers theyserve, but they have rye ???? and a big list of ?fancy? drinks for the girls, so I don?t think anyone will be disappointed. Sucha warm, open and industrial style feel, it?s very inviting for a casual stop or a special affair. Check this place out! Read more
