Found another local secret - will absolutely be back again! So many choices on the menu from breakfast to dinner! I got the... Irish Eggs and Oleg got the broiled Rainbow Trout. S&S Definitely has a family diner feel. It?s a fairly large restaurant with lots of seating. There?s a portion of the restaurant... that offers coffee, deli meats, cheeses and other produce. I came during a busy time (noontime) - there was about a eight minutewait to be seated. The only accommodations they have for solo dining is at the bar. My waitress is very kind and attentive,however due to the sheer volume of people, it took a while for me to get a drink and something to eat. I got one of the mostpopular items which was a lox pizza with cornbread (Mama?s pizza special). For the most popular item in their menu I have to saythat it was okay. Cornbread crust was doing most of the work alongside a thick cut of cheese on top. While being somewhat tasty,it was unique I?ve never had anything like it before. Excellent restaurant and deli. Lots of seating and the staff is always friendly. They even have 2 small parking lots which is a... luxury in Cambridge. The food is always delicious. Not pictured here are the S&S wings. I've been eating them since I was a kidand I think they are the best in the Boston area. I highly recommend this place. Read more
My family has been using S&S for 60+ years never left disappointed, everything is always good I even stop at the deli for a take... home dessert or container of Cole slaw or some quiche, etc.. My favorite meal is the #10 triple decker with fries instead ofchips. If you do once you'll keep going there. Read more
Really enjoyed the breakfast omelet here Plenty of options with variety of different breakfast lunch & dinner plates available.... The egg white omelet with pesto & turkey bacon was fantastic, the plate was full of food that you can definitely get stuffed inone sitting. Very spacious restaurant with plenty of seating, parking is terrible being it is Cambridge so I?d suggest taking anUber or The T. Glad I found a new spot I can go to when I?m in need of some breakfast that can get me through the morning. Read more
It has been about 22 years since I'd been here! The food is still amazing! Try the S&S wings if you can!
