Good thing I read the other reviews. No kidding about the Chicken Finger Dinner, wow. Moist chicken breasts freshly deep fried.... Had the onion rings which was also a good choice. Definitely a two person meal as 10 pieces with rings was a lot to eat with thesmall salad. Friendly fast service and bargain prices and good food gives this place a five star review from me. Had the Buffalo finger plate and the Buffalo fingers were good. The fries were not. Tasted like it sat in the plate and tin foil... for a little bit. Had jalapeño poppers and that was good. No complains on that. They have cream cheese inside so that’s aplus. The pizza was decent. Felt like it sat in the pizza display for a while. I’ve gotten lunch from Ma Magoos and thepizza slices and subs were much better during that time. Maybe just busier so the pizza was fresher. Overall, still good foodespecially during lunch time. Their steak and cheese is my usual food during lunch. Very good. 4.5 stars but google doesn’tallow half star. Read more
This rating is based upon their prices alone. $9 for a small cheese pizza!? I can understand if it was a four cheese pizza, but... for a regular plain cheese pizza for $9 is outrageous. For that price the pizza should taste like gold. For price reasons alone,I will never be eating at Ma Magoo's. The one reason I picked up one of their brochures was because of Magoo. An old cartoon. A hidden gem for sure. The owner is a delight to talk to. He told me a little of the history about this place and i was so... intrigued. The staff was so friendly and the place was clean. I ordered the famous chicken finger sub with the honey mustard andi added bacon. Oooh la la, I was shocked at how humongous this sub was and absolutely delicious. This place is unbelievable. I can't believe I've never been here before my visit today. I was craving a fish sandwich and they... delivered. Bonus points for the way they toast their subs to perfection. My friend told me their chicken fingers are really goodso I'll definitely get them next on the side or in a sub. Spoiler alert: this is a review revealing an absolute longterm affair with Ma Magoo’s chicken tenders. Does Ma Magoo’s have... other things on the menu? You bet they do. In fact, they all look delicious. However, each time I walk in I cannot get anythingbut the tenders because they are just that good. Crispy, full body chicken paired with either honey mustard, buffalo, or nakedif youre the dipping type. You can buy a tenders platter, you van buy a tenders sub, you can buy a tenders dinner - their alldelicious. What’s better, you can buy Ma Magoo’s honey mustard sauce in store. Came in today for a late lunch. Was super delicious and will definitely be back! Got the small chicken tenders side with honey... mustard.
