Kantipur's meals are top tier! Our meal was incredible! We got the Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tikka masala and the Paneer Masala and... they are all great must try dishes!! Kantipur is a small little shop on Columbia St which means it isnt too busy and makes for agreat hangout spot! Read more
Delicious fresh and flavorful food. The Momo's (dumplings) were very tasty, especially with accompanying orange and red sauces.
(COVID 2021) I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. I went for the first time last weekend and was thrilled by both... the food and the congenital service I received. The Chicken Tandoori Momos are wonderful - a heavenly combination of dumplingand Indian Tandoori. The only caution I'd give is to watch out for the spice! Medium doesn't play around and will leave youwanting some of their Raita! Update 2022: Momos and all the Nepalese food is fantastic, and while they do serve pizza and substhere are other great places in Cambridge to get those, stick with the specialties! Read more
I am glad that there's a restaurant in Cambridge that brings some freshness to the Menu and Taste. They serve one of the best... Momos in Boston/Cambridge Area. I tried Tandoori Momos and they were really flavourful. I highly recommend the paneer Tikka aswell fyi these tikkas really giant cubes of fresh And soft paneer. They have good number of vegetarian options, and the servingsize is good as well. For the restaurant owner, I would have liked to have Mint coriander chutney instead of rice along withPaneer Tikka, since its an appetizer. Read more
We tried Kantipur Cafe for the first time this weekend and it was great!! We ordered the vegetable samosa, chicken momo, chicken... korma, and chicken kadhai. Everything was delicious!! Each dish had great flavor. You can also customize your spice level forthe entrees. Great portions and value. The vegetable samosa order came with 2 large samosas. The chicken momo came with 8pieces. We also received a nice variety of dipping sauces with our order. The entrees come with basmati rice. We ordered onlineand picked up. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. The restaurant still had their 15% off the entire menu promotion- notsure how long it will last. I can?t wait to order again! Read more
Very overrated food. Surprised by all the good reviews here to be honest. Ordered two of their more popular dishes - chicken... momos and chicken tikka, the latter was very disappointing as there was hardly any flavor to the meat at all, the spices mostlyconsisted of a thin coating on the surface with a predominantly strong chilli flavor and very bland on the inside.
