Food was delicious! The fish was the star of the show, the tuna tasted amazing. I would return just for that. The scallop bites... was also great. I wanted to try the uni but it was unfortunately sold out\n\nThe miso ribs were pretty good, nice balancebetween sweet and umami. The lobster roe pasta was not bad, I wished it was a little bit more flavorful though. The strawberrymochi dessert with condensed milk and red bean was ok, didn’t love it and didn’t hate it.\n\nService was good, no issues orcomplaints.\n\nAlthough pricey, I would return. Read more

This is a restaurant that offers a good variety of sakes. They offer sake flights on the menu, which was awesome that I could... teste a small quantity of each. We tried all the flights and the “variety flight” was the best. The “Yuho” sake was mypersonal favorite. We also ordered some tapas to share - Sake Chicken, Miso Ribs, some veggies, and the today special. I have tosay, I enjoyed every single bite and all the drinks in Judy’s Bay. The atmosphere was chill and the staff were reallyfriendly. The only downside was all staffs were extremely busy. You need to wait quite a while in order to get someone to helpyou with your order. Husband & wife take on a modern izakaya featuring fresh New England ingredients. Come here if you\'re looking for a menu curated... with tender loving care and a rotation of fresh seasonal seafood and veggies. Also - come for the sake selection!\n\nStartedwith a very refreshing and generous sesame salad topped with a very well balanced sesame dressing (I hope they start bottlingand selling this dressing - I would totally buy a bottle home and serve with all my raw veggies). Great way to start a meal andwhet the appetite!\n\nWe then had the seasonal special bittermelon salad with tomatoes and onsen egg. Tasted like thebittermelon and tomatoes were fresh picked! Chilled bittermelon salads are my favorite during the summer, and this was adelicious combination of flavors and textures.\n\nAnother special we tried was a seared tuna over rice served with nori. Lovedthe DIY handrolls experience and the richness of the tuna.\n\nPork dumplings were a hit of nostalgia. Clearly wrapped with loveand fatty pork. So satisfying.\n\nThen the spices started to kick in with the gochujang butter mussels! The sauce is so good youwill need to order a bowl of medium grain rice to go with it - you will not regret it.\n\nThe miso ribs must be a signaturedish. They\'re slow cooked to perfection with a touch of sweetness and a load of umami! Fall off the bone type of magic, which Ialso recommend with a bowl of rice.\n\nSo happy with the seared oyster mushrooms + caulilni. Large portion, and just like howmomma used to make at home, except with an additional fragrant seared flavor.\n\nLobster roe pasta made me unintentionally moanwith delight. The richness of the flavors and the perfect consistency and bounce of the pasta was too much for my mouth tohandle, and I\'m pretty sure I did a happy dance in my seat.\n\nWe tried both the desserts, which I\'m glad we did, because Ican\'t choose which one I like better. The strawberry tapioca pudding is just the right creaminess bursting with Read more

SOOO good! Everything was amazing. I am still dreaming of the lobster roe pasta. I came with a group of 4 and we all agreed this... was our favorite meal in the Boston area. The ribs and pork belly were both cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. I\'musually not a dessert person but we ordered 5 desserts for the 4 of us because they sounded delicious and they did notdisappoint! The strawberry tapioca was my favorite but all 3 were great and not too sweet. Can\'t wait to visit again!! Read more

You guy should change the name of this restaurant to JUDY’S BAR.\nIf you come for great food, you will be disappointed. This... is totally a bar for white people, LOUD but Japanese decorated ????\n\nSake chicken:\nSoft, salty, doesn’t have too muchflavor but Sake wine after taste.\n\nSesame salad:\nOk\n\nRibs:\nSorry but this dish is nothing special, may I saymediocre.\n\nClean table and seats is good, but you don’t want to have a dinner at a bar, right?\nAnd pricey for the qualitytoo Read more

Set in a cozy and intimate atmosphere, Judy’s Bay offers one of the best Japanese Izakaya experience in the Greater Boston... area.\nRecently took a visit for dinner, and was impressed with the overall experience. We started off the meal with someyamitsuki cabbage and the uni scallop bites. The cabbage had a hint of saltiness and a prominent seasame oil flavor that made itquite addicting. The uni scallop bites were topped with a slice of perilla leaf which gave them an aromatic aftertaste, and theywere certainly excellent complements to the drinks we ordered.\nFlavor profiles of the meat dishes weren’t unique as they arecommonly used in East Asian countries, but their execution was certainly top notch. The sweet barbecue glaze of the miso ribsand the pork belly was decadent, and the sake chicken was extremely tender. The thinly sliced cabbages that came along with italso gave a nice contrast in texture as it was crunchy and refreshing. Depending on your preference, the chicken may be a littlebland, but I thought it was a perfect demonstration of the Japanese style of cooking.\nThe star of the meal was the lobster roepasta with uni. Although I was almost full by the time it came out, I couldn’t resist taking another bite. Lobster roe, buttercreme sauce, and the uni had a varying degree of butteriness, and the addition of lemon juice created a unique but balancedflavor profile which I loved.\nOverall, a fantastic new addition to the neighborhood, and I would certainly return to try theirother menus. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and relax in a comforting ambience with impeccable food and drinks, thisis the place to go. Read more

Absolutely lovely! The food was delicious, and the service was kind and quick! It\'s a nice, chill, and cozy environment, and I... deeply appreciate the little baskets they have under your table to put your hats and gloves and scarves in. It\'s little thingslike this that make the experience! Read more
