Don't come to this place, if you value cuisine in any way, shape, or form do not come here. I am in no place to argue prices but... for what we got for the price at which we got it, I have nothing else to leave with other than a feeling of deepdissatisfaction. Not only did they charge nearly $3 for a cup of tea, an offering usually synonymous with a free glass of waterwhen it comes to Asian restaurants, but there were numerous points at which I was concerned with overall cleanliness. I stillwant to provide something positive and have this be somewhat legitimate criticism rather than a spirited rant so I will say thatthe service was decent and the food alright. Very tasty and fast! Tonight, we tried the classics: Alaskan roll, shrimp tempura, yellow tail roll, and pickled mackerel. They... were all super fresh and delicious! I also liked that the whole menu was picture- based. We are definitely coming back for more! Read more
Came here for a Saturday lunch. 3 for service - they are good to some particular customers and too busy for some others others.... It takes some relationship and luck to be served well. 4.5 for food - decent sushi, nice decoration, still a little to go untilperfect (some of the rolls fell apart when picked up by chopsticks). 5 for location - within walkable distance from the T andwith parking lot. 3.5 for environment - a little tight especially when crowded. 3.5 for value - a little pricyoverall === Therefore I would give an overall score of 3.9 Read more
Good quality sushi, etc at decent prices. Small place with about 14 tables... Food is prepared well and the noodles are... served very hot while tempura is light and delightful. Good stop over place at the end of a long day without a lot ofcomplications. Read more
One of the best sushi restaurants in town. My friends are vegetarian and genki ya has the best menu for vegetarian sushi roll.... They have another location in Boston and it has really good drinks too. They have a lunch special where they serve youcomplimentary salad and miso soup. The staff is very friendly too. Read more
Coming from the west coast (that's my hook), it was ok. The prices were reasonable, and so was the food, not great, but... reasonable. Wouldn't recommend the scallop hand roll (wasn't fresh to my taste), but the fish was good and fresh. I love Tobikowith egg, and was happy to see it on the menu, but it was goopy because they left the egg white (you're supposed to only use theyolk). The hand rolls are worth while, good price and quantity, get that. Read more
