Darwin?s is one of those coffee shops that is taken over by students so every table is one kid, one Mac, and one small cup of... coffee. In other words, good luck finding a table. Not that you really want one because all of the furniture Is uncomfortablewith uneven legs. Maybe that?s their strategy to keep students from overstaying their welcome? Regardless, my latte wasexcellent and my Rindge sandwich was tasty, albeit light on hummus and avocado (offset by a hearty helping of cheddar).Unfortunately, I had actually wanted a Tempeh Tantrum, but they were out of tempeh. Bottom line, with a daughter at Harvard,I?ll be back, but would probably go for Tatte, if given a choice. Read more
It used to be good but now the workers are rude and negligent. I had to remind them chatting for ten minutes that I haven't got... my coffee yet. When I tried to check in if they're still accepting orders--because it was close to their closing time--thecashier was even annoyed. Lol Read more
Last week they called me because they didn?t have the GF bread for my online order, but they have it again in stock now! They... have also been really quick with sandwich orders recently. The chipotle aioli is great, you can even add it to most sandwicheson the Toast App. Read more

Such a chaotic and discriminating place. Over 20 mins waiting time and you got nothing!! There is no other customer before me... but it took them 20 mins preparing a single sandwich, while 5 people after me got their order within 5-10 mins. NEVER NEVER comeback again. Read more
We used to go to this Darwin's all the time and loved it, but in the past few months things have changed. The food and coffee... just aren't as good, the chai's are undrinkable, and the staff are so rude. I've been downright yelled at three several timesjust for checking in on an order slightly early. The last time I was here, I asked about my order and was told "you are notfirst in line, you'll just need to wait" to which I politely replied "Ok! no worries." The staff member then proceeded to chatwith his coworkers for ten minutes, stock the fridge unnecessarily for ten minutes, and then finally get someone to make mydrink. I got the tempeh tantrum sandwich, and it was excellent. The toffee latte was also amazing! It?s a little pricey, but definitely... worth it. The sandwich was huge! Read more
