The sandwiches are way overpriced. The BLT had only 3 or 4 slices of bacon, was drowning in mayo, and while I understand that... artisanal bread has varying structure, the amount of huge holes in this sandwich made it very sloppy and difficult to eat. Ican't speak for their other items, but if you're getting a sandwich here prepare to pay too much for disappointment. Tasted finebut not worth the price. Read more
I?ve visited a few times?Beatrice has consistently excellent coffee (the cold brew is delicious, though I?d suggest asking for... ?light ice?), and their breakfast sandwiches are delicious too. Water station (including free self-serve sparkling water) is anice touch. I?ve stopped here as a halfway point on a long run before. Perfect refuel spot. Read more
Cozy place with good sandwiches and limited bakery items. I?ve tried salad here several times, but the Thai noodle salad does... not worth $14! It had no dressing, and had the cheapest type of cabbage! Not recommend this salad, but try the others! The Cobbsalad is pretty nice! Read more
These folks have perfected soft, buttery, flaky puff pastry. Had cinnamon roll and fruit brioche, both made with the same flaky... goodness, and both were just perfect. Also had bacon egg and cheese on brioche and an everything bagel with charred onion creamcheese. Best cream cheese ever, on an excellent bagel. I've never had a Danish before and I'm in love! How do they keep the egg so perfect like this?! I think this place beats any... restaurant brekkie in CA. Boston is amazing. Best Veggie Danish in Cambridge. Recently dropped by to get their egg + veggie Danish, cinnamon roll, and chocolate hazelnut... financier. All the pastries were amazing and they were definitely good as any other famous bakeries in Boston. The Danish wasmore like a croissant sandwich but presented as a Danish. Nevertheless, it actually made the experience much better: able toenjoy all the toppings in every bite. The cinnamon roll was nice and crunchy (may be too sweet with vanilla frosting on top),and they overall did a phenomenal job with everything. Read more
