I give my lunch 1 star - 0 for the sandwich and 1 for trying something native to upstate New York. Tried the Beef on Weck today... at lunch. The menu online: Beef on Weck House roasted beef, extra hot horseradish, real au jus on a kimmelweck bun (warm andthin, sliced to order). Served with coleslaw and dill pickle spear. My sandwich was terrible. Cons. The bun was stale. Sostale that when I picked it up, most of the salt and caraway seeds fell off. There was no horseradish. There was no au jus, nocoleslaw, no pickle per the menu. The beef was so over cooked and dry that after 3 bites I threw $14 worth of sandwich in thetrash. Pros - They offer Beef on Weck. It was still warm. If your menu says what is in/on a sandwich, why not make thatsandwich? Read more
This place and these guys are great First off the restaurant is tiny, so you may or may not be able to find a place to sit and... eat. It can also be a pain to find parking as well, the only parking around is usually metered street parking and it is moreoften than not packed. So plan ahead. That being said, this is a great place to go and get a sandwich. The staff are alwaysfriendly and welcoming. The food comes out high quality and fast. The pastraminator and the reubens are very good. They areknown for their Hell fries, which are good but truly are spicy. So for all of you who love spicy fries, these babies are foryou. Read more
Food was decent - nothing incredible but it definitely wasn’t bad. The service was friendly and quick but there was a mix up... with our sides and we were charged more than we would have liked to have been. if you’re in the area really in the mood for asandwich stop by for a quick bite. Read more
We ordered from All Star for a large event yesterday and were so happy with their top service along with the flavor (people... loved their sandwiches), quality (top ingredients), and large portions of their food. They were very communicative and easilyaccommodated several special requests. All Star made our event a big success--we'll have events catered by them in the futurefor sure. The Latin ALT is amazing!! The herb ranch on it is so good. They’re super quick, was ready within 10 minutes.
Pictures tells everything. Ordered a cheeseburger for pick up, they gave me a burned buns, no cheese and the lettuce was rotten... (disgusting). Went back to have them make another one. They didn’t show any remorse and they just change the buns !!! Theykept the cold meet and the rotten lettuce and didn’t add cheese, they lied to me and said that they made a new one. I trustedthem, and went home to enjoy my burger, guess what? Look at the pictures (picture of burned buns is from the old burger that Ireturned to them), picture of the lettuce are from the second burger that they states they made it new. Read more
Awesome burger/sub bar with quick and friendly service. Southwestern burger that I got had good amount of fresh veggies and the... creamy sauce vastly enhanced the flavor of the patty. However, the cheese fries I got on the side was underwhelming. It seemedlike they used mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar/American cheese. Without the strong cheese flavor and solidified cheese,everything tasted mushy and less appetizing. Nonetheless, their burgers were definitely worth the price tag and I would love totry their other specialty sandwiches. Read more
Always a solid meal, love that there are veg options and would love an actual vegan option on the menu w/o mods. Keep up the... good food!! Read more
